I just love you, and your realness! The tomato soup and grilled cheese hangover meal made me feel 100% human again! 😂 I have so been there, especially with the current events. Love this weeks recipes, I gotta try that beef and broccoli. I am always doing that recipe and I need to get better at my chinese food skills. Lol. For me, Chinese or Asian ingredients are intimidating, and foreign bc I never use them. So, I would love to learn how to use them and make great food. Thank you for being so real! Love your videos!

I make beef and broccoli just like you did in this video. I cut my london broil in slices, not chucks. I back the time off to about 4-5 min. That has given me the tenderness but the pull on the meat that you expect for Beef and broccoli. I also always add 2 bags of broccoli. In my opinion if I am buying flank steak I am not going to bury it in a sauce because it is a very tasty beef cut. Love your What's for dinners. I look forward to them every Sunday. I have been a sub since the beginning. You are doing great with your channel.
@tayelmore4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I cut it in slices but I should have probably cut back on the time like you said. I've never bought flank steak.

@@tayelmore Flank steak (at least where I live is very expensive.) Keep rocking the What's for dinners. I will be making Million Dollar Spaghetti this week. I need to start my own channel. Cooking is my stress relief sometimes. Getting lost with some good music in the kitchen making yummy food and making my family smile. Nothing better.

Oh, you said a collaboration with someone else same name 😂 how did this come about two Taylor's under one video, luv it. All the dishes look fabulous. I can't wait to try the hash browns... Quick little try I do this for my kid's but when I make french toast for them I get both sides with cooked bacon by Breaking the the bacon in half lay it on a grease pan I prefer to use regular cooking pan as I'm not sure how it works on a cast iron skillet then I do the french toast on top of the pan and I add cooked bacon on top of the french toast and flip to cook it and I drizzle a little syrup before I serve it or u can leave it out cause I usually sprinkle a homemade cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice and sugar mixture on it so it's already sweetened, just thought I'd share this with u maybe it kid's would enjoy this as well with ur deliciousness already ☺️ have a wonderful week in advance.

making beef and brocolli on a stove top is easier and faster :) it also has less ingredients. the recipe I use is from Asian cooking at home its like hte first that pops up
@tayelmore4 жыл бұрын
I've tried some recipes for stove top ones and they never came as close to tasting like it came from the Chinese restaurant. It may take a little longer in the IP but it was pretty quick to throw everything in there and then I could walk away and do something else like cook the fried rice 😊

I wonder why you don't add the peas to the tuna casserole? Just wonder, since many recipes call for them.

That's never the way I had it growing up. Peas were always on the side. I know that if I mixed them in then the kids wouldn't eat it even though they like the peas on the side.

Breakfast for dinner is a favorite around here, even though we don't eat it much. I was a bit triggered by your red beans and rice recipe, lol. I was born and raised in the deep south of Louisiana and grew up eating red beans cooked low and slow all day on the stove. But obviously, I know that everyone is different. Maybe try looking up a true cajun red beans recipe and give it a try. You won't be disappointed!
