Mornin Taylor. That was a beautiful Holstein. I remember we had a Holstein that was very particular, she was ticklish as all get out. You touched her bag she would kick. For some reason I was able to mild her without her kicking. So, she was my job to milk her. The fresh smell of manure being spread was something else. Of course we were able to spread all year long. Except we couldn't spread in the winter because of the snow. Couldn't get to the fields. But our spreader was rear discharge, and you ended up with manure spatter on you. What fun. Have a good day and God Bless

Hey, Y'all! great Video Tay!! Always a blast riding around on the 1066 with you!! The "fresh manure" must have really dried out around the edges because I don't recall it being so solid, no matter where you pulled it from. Your backing up skills with a trailer are really good. I'm impressed! Glad you caught that apple Brent tossed...you know where it would have landed if you missed?! It's great when you hear the power coming out of the tractor under a load!! And we watched the rain flap on the muffler! Your barn cleaner hasn't given you any grief since put in the new parts, has it? Thanks for sharing! Bye Y'all!

I was born a town -boy, but I have worked on farms in 5 states. One of my first opportunities was my intro to a cattle holding barn with packed manure about a foot deep which had to be removed with a pitch fork, shovel , 8N Ford and a formerly horse drawn manure spreader. It took me all summer 1952, but I became a master at spreading crap.

Brent saying you got 5th place out of 4 entries without missing a beat is hilarious. I bet hes got good line for most situations. Something to consider about that field may be needing some nitrogen as if you mixed in some clover or alfalfa lagoons the help repopulate that nitrogen and then balance out for some more protein, to bad you weren't able to enter both samples. The Slinger spreader is just a superior spreader, but I'm highly biased. Soreader manure is such fun, most people think I'm nuts when I say that. I also tell folks cows are the best people to work with 😆. But cows are generally great.

Taylor - thanks for another great video. You love taking us along and we love coming along with you. I listened carefully as you rode on the tractor and when you were trying to speak we heard you but there was over driving distortion. It more than likely comes from the Db level of the tractor engine being too much for the mic. One rule of thumb is if you need ear protection for your ears it will most likely be too much for the mic. It’s fine when its at idle but high rev distorts it. The sound pressure vibrates the baffle inside of the mic to much that’s where the distortion comes from. So that you’re aware and not think I’m just some know it all Ive been a live sound support Technician since the early eighties. Oh no I just dated myself! 😮 I have much more I could share with you to help you navigate this because as you have already discovered Mic/recording equipment can get costly very fast so if you have a little input you’ll know better what to look for. I could email you at the email listed on this channel if that would help. If you read this let me know I’m happy to help if you so desire.
