Hi Taylor from a very wet Wisconsin. Our excessive rains here have not allowed some farmers to get into their fields to make hay. Cows need to stay hydrated too. I know hot weather can affect their milk output. Brent is so good with the Kubota that I think he could have picked that spider off of the truck’s window. ☺️ Enjoyed riding along with you while you were chisel plowing that field. Can’t wait to see how your corn does in that field. Will be watching for updates. Glad to see you relaxing for a while. Stay cool, safe, and hydrated. 🐄🚜😉❤️

Taylor, raise the chisel plow up before you make your turn, make the turn and then sink it again. Be less wear and tear on the hitch.

Hey Taylor, you are right it is always something on the farm. And the heat sure makes it miserable. Glad to see you get to use your 10 for plowing, are great tractors. We had 3 of them in the 70's. Used them until we went to 86 series but are one of International's better tractors. Good luck with chorez and getting ground worked. Be safe!!!!! Stan. Ia.

Oh yeah, I am new here and I have always wondered about the farming industry? And how the farm equipment works on the farm? I live in an area where there are a lot of farms, and I always see the giant "marshmallow" Hay Bale's after they are they look? Once they are done, but I don't get a chance to see them being wrapped up? I was also wondering about the raking method, and how they are piled up into windrows and how thorough the rake is? I wonder if anyone could build a similar system for grass-clippings while mowing a yard? I've thought about building a system like that and putting it to the test? A guy would have to look at the bigger equipment such as the ones on farm equipment? Take a few pictures of the setup and carefully build one? It can't be that tough to build one?

You were saying something about it being really hot outside and inside the barn? I was just wondering if there are any big fans running throughout the building? I'm sure that those cows 🐄 🐮 are really feeling miserable sitting inside the barn house? They would probably be a lot happier if there was a fan blowing across them, circulating the air? It's probably a little bit cooler on the concrete floor and that's why they are laying down, because the concrete will absorb the temperature that it was through the night and stay cool, until the warmer temperatures start to climb up, later in the day? It was just something that came to my mind while you were talking about it. And because they are animals and stay outside and can probably adjust to temperatures easier than us humans?

13:57, ".. usually I bring a book, chill out and read a little bit". Drives standard, reads for pleasure, wears a watch, operates heavy equipment, looks forward to cutting hay. Are you absolutely positively sure you are not from northern Wisconsin? Seriously, 4H or the Maine dept of Ag and forestry should hire you as a spokeswoman. What I really respect with you both is the lack of negative talk and thought. Being negative does nothing to get problems solved. Thanks to you both for being such great examples and extra thanks always for sharing.

Still growing a big organic garden though, all hand work, and enjoying videos such as yours. I know what you mean. talking about how old tractors and those other farm implements we've enjoyed using for years and years are dear to us. I was so glad to see you finally put on your ear protection. You don't want to wake up when your fifty years old to realize you've lost a bunch of your hearing. Take care and work safe. Cheers!

That chisel plow did a nice job. You could have put some weight on the disk to get it to sink in better, the frame looks pretty heavy but a little extra weight can help them. I hope you got some rain on the field it will break up better if you get some rain on it. Hope the planting of the corn went well and you got to enjoy running the tractor and planter. Stay safe and healthy Tay. They have boxes that stick with magnets on line I do not remember where I got some years ago but it works to put a phone or wallet in and the strong magnets keep the box still. Brent is very good getting video for you to share, he had a steady shot going over a rough field, great job Brent.

Always enjoy the walk in front of the cows in the dairy barn! All the smells that go with that barn come to mind too. Good stuff! Dump some vinegar in the water when you scrub the water bowls/tanks. It will kill algae and break it loose to make cleaning easier. I use that in chicken waterers t keep them clean. Works great. Cheap and organic too. I always enjoy the sound of the IH too. 66's were good tractors!

At 7:08 Pastures ???? The cows in the barn eating feed ??? Milked cows for 45 years..... Its interesting how todays dairy farmers attempt to control everything ! Myself....milked 50 cows with the good old surge bucket milkers ( with the strap over the cows back ) Washed the buckets out once ever third day. Cost.. on 50th of pipeline ! Seldom had problems So simple and easy ! Never fed grain during the summer. It creates excess heat for the cows. Put them out on the pasture early morning and put them under shade after 10 am ! All this equipment and the results ? Debt ! I never owned a skid loader...... no TMR. Dried the cows up during the winter time and cows had calves in March ! They took advantage of green grass......from the tank to the bank ! By the time it was hot around July 1st........the bills were all paid ! The remaining.... gravy ! Farmers make it hard on themselves !
