7 years alcohol free for me. I was on a slippery slope using it to relieve the stress and anxiety that came with a big high paying job I had. One night on a flight home from Denver I was half lit and had just asked the flight attendant for another double. I got up to use the lavatory and while looking at myself in the mirror in that tiny space I said out loud "I'm done". In that moment the good and gracious Lord took away my desire to drink. I walked back to my seat and put my fresh cocktail in the trash. I stepped off that plane and have never had the desire to drink a drop since. I walked away from that fancy job as well and became a simple man again like I was raised. Thank you Lord!

I’m a recovering drug addict sobriety date 6/27/20 and my brother died last year to addiction and my uncle just passed to an overdose. If it wasn’t for loving parents, God and the power of prayer I wouldn’t have made it.
