I was a skeptic at first, but I just bought a 714ce Blackheart Sassafras 3 days ago. All I can say is WOW!! I have not put it down!! I have a Taylor 814 Brazilian Rosewood "Legends of the Fall" and I consider them equals. I am a serious acoustic player, so tone means everything to me. I can't say enough good about this guitar. I love a Martin and I love the K24ce Koa's Taylor has, I surprised and shocked myself when I chose this Blackheart Sassafras guitar over them. But WOW I certainly don't regret it. I am considering buying another one, but I can't justify it. This is my personal opinion. Call me crazy, but first, go experiment like I did.

This guitar seems so great. I'm a 714 guy and I'm really glad I can't lay my hands on one of these! Thanks for the great video review.

This Taylor sounds and LOOKS magnificent! I already own a 714ce with a cedar top which I love. If this was a 12 fret model, I'd be tempted to pull the trigger...

Nice, Joe when you do your dynamic range sound examples, do you think you could also add, doing a tuning variation, like double drop D, or a DADGAD...ect It would be nice to see what extra sonic sounds your guitars have.

How does the sound compare to the 814 Spruce on Sass?
@Faraz95642 жыл бұрын
@@Jms78able There's a fair bit of both models on Reverb. The 914 sass is even more elegant but rare, 50% higher premium, and made in the pre-V Bracing era of Taylor. Good luck with the purchase!
