I don’t care what people have to say about Taylor, she maybe overrate to some and some may not understand why she is overhyped. Well in an era where every popstar is half naked and sings about sex or how sexual they are, while shaking their butts on stage or in music videos, she puts actual words to what regular girls feel or go through, she does it with class, grace and with her clothes on. And that’s why people like her, that’s why parents love her and are okay with their kids listening to her, that’s why I liked her when I was 14, and fell in love with the song fifteen, and will always love and respect her, despite not really liking her current genre of music. She deserves every bit of success and is where she is because she has depth.

Girls CAN get free piano lessons if their parents barter services or if their school or community center provides it for free. And being part of a choir... Could be a church or rec center. Not everyone who participates in music is rich. I understand what you're saying though. There are lots of young impoverished people who fall victim to addiction, abuse, human trafficking, etc. There are indeed much bigger problems, but in the context of music I don't think Taylor is entirely wrong. Who just has a 3 hour tour in the U.S. Taylor has that long of a tour because the Lover Tour was canceled due to covid. Artists generally tour for each album. Taylor has put out Lover, Folklore, Evermore and Midnights with no tours. Those albums didn't get their own. So smartly she put on one tour that encompassed all of them in addition to the staples.

Billie had the largest album charting in her career. That is a major accomplishment. Her 2 album was her highest charting before. Billie and Taylor are both wonderful artists. Taylor also just added TTPD to her tour so of course she would push the album. Her album is only a month old. If she wasn't on tour she would be promoting it in interviews and performances. Love to all the artists. They all have individual things that make them special. No one is better than another. It all depends on an individuals taste. Not just Billie bit many other singers too. I believe in 2014 one of my favourite singers might've been posting on sound cloud or maybe still taking piano lessons. Like she said in her love tour album, that she was going to recitals as a kid wearing black gloves with skulls on them. You might or might not have heard of her: Elohim. And yes the message is applicable to many other singers. Alina Baraz was probably in a choir or had already published urban flora. She's also a really talented singer. She (unlike Elohim who produced indie Edm music) is an amazing R&B singer that makes amazing collabs with Khalid and has even opened for coldplay once.
