Thanks for your video, I enjoyed that. Very nice guitar, seems to me Taylor did a really nice job on it. In the video, to me, the guitar sounds slightly boomy, and that might be caused by the microphone positioning, which is either directly pointing to the soundhole or very close to it. I am not a professional studio technician, although I have a little bit of experiencing in recording various instruments, but perhaps you can get an even better sound when pointing the microphone closer to the area where the neck joins the body, at an angle so that the tip of the microphone is tilted a bit towards the soundhole, but not directly facing it. Just a thought.

Bright clangy trashcan like sound. But it could be because they are light strings on it. The GS mini has medium strings. Maybe medium strings on the guitar would give it a richer sound.
