I've seen FF couple times, but I have to admit I'm not a huge Dave fan. He's okay. I loved Nirvana, but in FF I prefer taylor tracks. I like some coattails and definitely Chevy metal, but what I liked best about taylor were his interviews without Dave where taylor could get a word in edgewise, because he was such a massive fanboy and I am too, with tastes more similar to taylor than my other favorite fanboy John fruciante. Some of frus taste is too far out for me. I loved Taylor's enthusiasm so much and he did some awesome covers, ziggy that he did with Steve Jones, love me two times with the doors. Top notch. Idk I just love the guy and his love for and encouragement of other musicians. There's gotta be some amazing world where taylor, Freddie, cornell, kurt, Keith moon, layne, Bonham, Scott Weiland, Bryan Jones, jimi hendrix, Ray manzarek, John Lennon, Jim morrison and so many more are all creating the absolute best music. At least I hope, and I hope I get at least a tour of it.

My heart is breaking all over again watching this. Such a stand-up dude, Taylor was. I didn't know there was such internal contention about releasing Medicine At Midnight, but I'm thankful they did. My most beloved pandemic memories that I'll take to the grave are dancing around the kitchen each night as my young kids finished their dinners and I cleaned the dishes/kitchen while rocking out to that album front to back for months! My 2 year old was singing and humming along to each song and still does to this day. LOVE me some Foo Fighters.

Dave has lost hard but this has got to be one of the greatest losses for him. All the interviews that you two did together you can feel the love for one another. It doesn't matter if this is one of ur favorite bands or even drummers it's the love of rock that we all have that puts us together. We have now suffered another hard death in ths rock industry. Many prayers for his family and band also to all the fans. They have been together since 1997. May you rock out in Heaven with all the ones that have been taken from us. When we have to put a RIP in front of a name we all feel that tough poke in our hearts. RIP Taylpr Hawkins thank you for allowing us to see and listen to all of ur best drumming and singing rifts

I can't begin to explain how crushed I was hearing if Taylor's passing 😢. I got to meet Taylor as Dave was my neighbor for few years on a particular beach in Ventura county. These 2 guys are the most genuine guys I'd ever met. Even our 3 German shepherds took to Taylor who ran with them on the beach. Most people are intimidated by our 3 dogs but Taylor took right to them. Of course I was nervous if one of them bit Taylor in the hands 😳 lol never happened. I'm so fortunate and grateful I got to shake hands and smile n laugh with Taylor. Even had a couple beers with these guys over time. We miss Dave and his family since he sold the beach house, neighborhood isn't the same. Taylor RIP my friend. I will never forget your infectious smile and I think my wife was a bit smitten lol. Your gonna be missed for years to come.

He was such a vibrant guy- I just watched him & Dave do the ‘jonesy’s jukebox’ radio show where Dave plays Joney’s very well & Taylor (looking v thin)plays along but is more shy. He said he was a ‘fat’ kid & exercised a lot with his wife saying he had ‘manorexia’🤷♀️ we have no idea what was really wrong with him at the core ,physically as well as mentally. I’m a 55 year old woman who was extremely healthy & ended up at a young age with 5 back surgeries (my 3 bottom discs ruptured in succession) the first disc had had a long time to do damage before it manifested then the successive ones happened after my surgeon deciding to stress (basically stick a needle into) the 3rd disc up & boy did that cause hurt & damage! The bottom one is often caused by multi level spinal fusions which I’d had & required another! I’m saying all this because I have & have had to take over a long period of time, morphine, diazepam, gabapentin, nephopam as well as paracetamol (not sure US equivalent, same for ibuprofen- an anti inflammatory) the latter is quite generic and easy to buy but I take a large dosage as I have issues with newer anti inflammatories. There’s more I take but my point is what was found in his stomach? I drink alcohol to some degree - I’ve been taking these meds a long time & my surgeon even suggested I take a few drams each night (I’m Scottish) we don’t have an exact cause of death apart from being told his heart was 2x size of a normal man! I’m going on at length as I’m trying to consider in my own mind what the cause of death of a seemingly healthy 50 year old man was? There’s nothing in the drugs that shouts it out for me so I’m not trying to be morbid but just interested to know what caused the chest pains (presumably his heart) but ultimately the cause of death & why? This was an extremely talented man with a beautiful wife & young family- my thoughts & 🙏🏻rs are with them all. I also 🙏🏻 each & everyone of them make a conscious decision to know & accept the free gift of salvation that Christ offers- especially in these last days. As a student of eschatology & geopolitics it’s obvious where we are on the timeline- never leave it too late 🙏🏻🙏🏻
