I’m a retired judge. I’ve seen people at their worst. I’m also a mother of five girls, a grandmother and great grandmother. I cannot understand what misfires in the human brain that could make a person do that to another human being. She’ll sit on death row for 2-3 decades. The system is geared to fight for the criminal, not the victim. I know there needs to be appeals, but it’s dragged out much too long, sometimes so long, new eyes look at the case and commute the sentence. We’ve seen that way too often. It’s not like her guilt is in question. My deepest condolences and prayers for her family and friends. I know her little girl will be taken care of and loved. The heartbreak is indescribable.

I wish she would lose it the exact way she made Regan lose hers: 100+ stab wounds without pain medication.

As it should be. I would like to tell that defense attorney that the only one that failed Taylor Parker was Taylor Parker!

When people argue against the death penalty , they never mention that the murderer is for the death .

AND SHE DOESN'T NEED TO BE AFFORDED 10-30 YEARS OF APPEALS. SHE PLANNED IT, SHE'S GUILTY & HER SENTENCE SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT ACCORDINGLY. THAT WAS JUST AN EVIL & SICKENING BRUTAL MURDER, AND FOR THAT PRECIOUS BABY TO LOSE HER LIFE TOO, IT'S HEARTBREAKING. AND TO THINK THERE WAS A 3 YR OLD LITTLE GIRL IN THAT HOUSE, I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE. SO MANY LIVES HAVE BEEN RIPPED APART FOR THE SAKE OF 1 SELFISH HUMAN BEING. MOMMY & BABY TOGETHER, MAY THEY FOREVER BE AT PEACE. 🩷

May the death penalty be carried out quickly. No waiting 20+yrs for justice.

She’ll probably get her sentence commuted. However, I don’t know about that. Carlie Routier is still on death row in Texas. May mom and baby always be honored and remembered. The punishment fits the crime.
