@ps3rox How is it unfair that she has a broad fanbase? She makes music that both sets of listeners enjoy (occasionally via remixes), and has found success in both genres in a fair, honest way. To boot, she has taken the route of the consistent singer-songwriter, opting to perform songs that she has written that talk about her personal, relatable feelings toward a variety of things. So sure, maybe she has an edge over some other artists, but it's certainly not unfair.

Taylor swift is an amazing artist. She is so down to earth and kind. Lady Gaga is also a very talented artist and an amazing talent. Beyonce, I can say that I don't really like her music, but she has a great voice. They are all very talented and they all deserve all the recognition they are getting. BTW Taylor Swift was a HUGE star before that Kanye West Crap, sure she got tons of publicity, but she already had gone PLATINUM before that.

I agree a lot. She has a knack for catchy lyrical melody but musically she brings nothing to the table. She can only play the most basic guitar and when she sings live her vocals are rarely on point. She just speaks to the millions of young girls who enjoy her portrayal of romance.
