This was amazing never really listened to Taylor swift was sleeping on the couch and I was half awake and heard this come on. I was like omg totally feels like good 90’s empowered women’s music. Definitely has a huge Alanis feel to it. This is a song and performance that made me just fall for her my god so gorgeous inside and out and in her creativity. Can’t say it enough beautiful.

I am proud of her! This had NO pitch correction whatsoever. And pitch is not her forte but so what? It's good enough to appreciate the timbre and feeling in her voice and -- most of all -- awesome songs of a type only she is able to create.

What is crazy is how she decided to continue forward while her 'competition' attempts to hold her back... I'm talking about when she was venturing out from country music and she started doing her own special version of pop music... Who could blame her? The 'artists' of country music today can't even write good music and its not even country music anymore anyway... it all sounds the same over there.. I hope she maintains her inclusive nature as she continues developing her own genre even though she has already accomplished that, obviously.. All the haters along the way... Konyay (Yall know who I mean here), Ellen (crazy jealous Oprah-want-to-be) ... All of them just waiting to see her break-down so they can pounce on her and publicly tear her down.. They are ALL bullies out to bring her down.. God loves this girl... She's got a beautiful soul... Even a lot of christian conservatives can learn from the attitude she has maintained. Who else treats the 'commoner' like a close best friend?

I don’t follow Taylor, but have heard and respected her vocals in the past. Tonight.., she was majorly, multiple times, singing off tune, flat and running too sharp. She’s human. No hate. But are we all going to pretend we didn’t notice? Edit: UPDATE: I shared my opinion also on my Facebook and received multiple, harsh reactions to my observations. She clearly has a tremendously protective coat of fans that defend, not so much her vocals, but more so her character. In suchan ego-centric, over, digitalized world that can auto-tune “a skunk to sound good,” ……., I guess a relatable/honest/respectable character is worth fanning over. Worth defending. I’m a 42y/old Mama of 9yr & 12yr. I’ve observed plenty over years..over many years. (Houston..COUGH/COUGH). I will not defend my observations. I respect the character she seems to covey amongst you all
@harshyadav98962 жыл бұрын
You said it. She's a human. We are here to celebrate her ownership of her albums, to celebrate the experience, her fan base is not for the vocal riffs and runs, we are here for her music and her songwriting and the albums. P.S that happened a few times here, but it's a 10 minute song so we were held captive for the entire while.

Honestly I’ve seen this with several musical guests on SNL. Super talented vocalists too, were almost unrecognizable when they played SNL. I’m partial to Taylor obviously, and she did sound a little off, but I’ve been thinking for awhile now there might be something with the SNL stage specifically.
@fazsicle2 жыл бұрын
It had no pitch correction this time. Yes I'm a musician of sorts and I hear it, but I prefer this "real" vocalizing with all its flaws because her feelings come through! And this type of song that expresses those feelings is what she is so good at and why I treasure her. I enjoyed this performance like I was seeing her for the first time.
