Taylor Swift, best guitarist?

Finally someone who’s not ripping her apart for not playing solos. As a beginner guitarist who learned by watching her performances the amount of hate videos lately are quite discouraging. I wish I could play like her whilst singing at the same time but my brain gets all confused 😂

When it comes to these best guitarist ratings it is always well known names that comes up but there are so many good ones that hardly anyone has heard about. Well maybe guitar nerds know about them. Typical example of this is Danny Gatton or Andy McKay. Both brilliant musicians but will hardly ever appear on a top 100 list even in guitar magazines. You see the usual suspects such as Clapton,Hendrix, Beck and VanHalen. All these deserve to be on this list but then you have others that are more famous than they are brilliant. I will not mention any names but you probably know a few of them. If Swift were noted as the 8th most influential artist the last twenty years the rating would be well deserved but I am not blown away ‘by her skills as a guitarist. There are thousands or probably hundreds of thousands that are just as good if not better. This is not meant as an attack on Taylor Swift. She as a hard working artist and her success is probably well deserved.😊
