I think Daylight was the best track on Lover, it really embodied what the heart of the album. I especially loved the lines where she wrote, “I once believed love was black and white, but it’s golden (golden) / I once believed love was Burning Red, but it’s golden (golden)”. That call back to her previous works and attitude, showing how she’s grown and that doesn’t mean the love she had then was wrong, but the love she has now is different. It’s completely different. I hope her and her current boyfriend find a happily ever after together. If not, Cornelia Street will be the saddest heartthrob turned heartbreak song ever.

Taylor surely can sing. Thing is that her performances doesn't contain any actually difficult thing. Belting in 4th octave, no melisma (riffs and runs), easy distortions. She can be surprisingly resonant sometimes (G4-B4). Usally not pitchy at all. Praising people for timbre should be forbidden by law, because it put many great vocalists to shame, cause bitch nearby has "angelic voice". And she's a good musician, hard worker and deserves it.
