She improved massively over the years, it's crazy how low she can comfortably go as a soprano, she even has F#2 in her song Tolerate It. My favorite artist

@@Singers_vocals_showcase she is a pop singer! Actually there's not a "how she should sound". Also, very rarely you will find a soprano that hits the 2nd octave. Besides that, she also does not start to belt at the G4/G#4. Instead, it starts at the F4 zone, another mezzo characteristic. Her speaking voice is also not sweet, light and delicate as a common soprano, it's more woman-ish. She is a mezzo for suuure. Btw it would be better for her to be classified as a mezzo. If you compare her with Ariana, Kelly and Demi, goddam... She is losing hahaha

she definitely is a very promising singer a beautiful tone, ease on low notes, nice control on her mid range and a lot of emotional delivery (a master of talk-singing too) she only needs to workout her voice improve her breath support, her resonance, her placement and her posture (her posture for the high notes is iconic but not technically good)

Considering Taylor has never said she was a vocalist but a singer/songwriter (massive difference!) & like all of her tours before, she takes NO breaks during the 3 & 1/2 hour long, 45 song Eras Tour (only very short costume breaks) I'm not sure why the 'need' to improve her vocal ability is still a talking point (although this is a great video)! Her beatifially relatable songwriting, emotive live performances, hard work ethic, fan dedication, humility & just being herself is why millions & millions of fans adore her! Can we please let her be enough? I mean, Whitney Houston's biggest song, (& arguably her best studio vocals) was I Will Always Love You-written by DOLLY PARTON! Nobody goes on & on about her, & many vocalists, not writing their own music. Can't we have it be the same in the opposite scenario & just appreciate an artist for THEIR artistry? Cuz when it comes down to it, it's easy to make a comment but how many of us could do everything Taylor does & tries? Seriously! Crickets...

@misouza2766this isn’t really fair… Taylor is a decent singer and great composer and she plays the piano and the guitar as well… Whitney didn’t play instruments (at least not in her performances) and she didn’t write her songs (maybe with a few exceptions), even though she was an exeptional singer… everybody praises Whitney for her singing ability and rightfully so (she was a singer and an incredible one, she didn’t have to do everything), but Taylor should also receive the same credit for being a singer, a songwriter and a multi-instrumentalist… she’s a truly versatile artist and even though she may be not a vocal technician at least she sings live and overall she delivers good vocal performances… she knows her limits and her singing style fits her songs… she could benefit from having a more developed singing technique, just like Whitney could have benefited from being more involved in her songwriting process, but at the end of the day it’s not a necessity… her artistry is about singing and songwriting and she does it well, Whitney was a vocalist and she did it well, they both deserve their flowers
@icydelight3693

@misouza2766 Taylor is actually one of the best songwriters in mainstream pop music… of course you can’t compare her to Mozart, but in her genre she is actually a brilliant songwriter and the proof is that there are millions of people who relate to her songs and every one of her records is critically acclaimed. She writes basically 100% of her songs, either by herself or with the help of other co-writers. That’s remarkable. She can emote millions of people with her lyrics, her melodies, her voice and her piano/guitar playing. The proof is the sheer success that she is enduring, with her last tour being the best selling tour ever by a female artist. Whitney emoted through her sheer vocal brilliance and she had many fans, Taylor emotes her fans through her songwriting, singing and instruments playing. They both have their strenghts and their fanbases that relate to their music. Saying that Whitney was one of the “best voices in the planet” while Taylor is not one of the best composers on the planet is unfair, because 1)Taylor is one of the best songwriters in pop mainstreams, with a nack for catchy melodies and clever lyrics 2) Taylor is literally the better all-around musician compared to Whitney, because, as exeptional as Whitney was, Taylor doesn’t just sing, but she also plays instruments and writes songs and yet people criticise her because her singing is not technically perfect even if it’s just a part of her artistry and it’s perfectly adequate for her songs, while nobody criticises Whitney for focusing only on singing… this is called a double standard. They both had strenghts and weaknesses but one gets glorified while the other is scrutinised for every imperfection

She has a G5 belt in I Did Something Bad in 2nd pre-chorus, she hit it few times on Rep Tour, one was even sharp but i'm not sure if it peaked on G#5, and she has A5 in head voice from that warm up in Speak Now era and she has D6 in So It Goes on Rep Tour, also in that making of This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things she hit D6, and she cracked on E6 i think. Then she has exclamations up to Bb6 but they don't count. Her studio vocal range is F#2 - G5 - D6 (F6) and her live vocal range is Bb2 - G5 (G#5) - D6/E6 - (Bb6). We know about one unreleased Lover track called All Of The Girls where she hits a lot upper belts, but that songs is unreleased, even little snippet never leaked so we don't know quite anything about it. One group called Taylor's Inner Circle have few of her unreleased songs and leaked what that song is about and this information that she sings very high after bridge, hopefully it will leak one day or Taylor decides to release it one day, probably she cut it off because of those high vocals, her comfort ends on E5.

Idk how people say she can’t sing. Get your ears checked. Many professional vocal coaches have watched the evolution of her voice and saw how much shes improved over the years with technique and stability. Besides she’s more known as a songwriter and lyricist. It just so happens she’s quite a good singer as well.
@YTLNC
@YTLNC 7 ай бұрын
She is below average and get YOUR ears checked. 😂 She has 1 good octave in her voice, E3-A4. Anything below or above that is unsupported, lowering the larynx to hit lows and pushing too much to hit the highs. There is no resonance. If she played the guitar or the piano the way she sings, she would not have a career.
