Theres a background synth that scratches a part of my brain sooo goood when it just doesnt let up and keeps.... circling. It start somewhere around "they fade to nothing when i look at him" and just keeps flossing the brain from there 😂

Love this song! Such a vibe. The lyric, “he built a fire to keep me warm” had me crying… my husband, who had passed by time this song came out, always had a fire going for me (plus a chilled glass of wine, cheese & crackers) when I got got home from work almost every day (when weather changed it went from fireplace to fire pit. It was a small thing but everything to me. So that line crushed me.

Yes, she's really the best songwriter and storyteller! You have so much to look forward to! I think Folklore will blow your mind. I really enjoy your reactions. Rep as an album is about media scrutiny, kim/Kanye etc. BUT it's also a love letter to Joe.
