People hate on Taylor all the time. Sometimes I think it's because we live in a culture where we value the underdog, but not people who are successful. Think about Hercules and Achilles from Greek literature. Both are huge heroes, both are significantly flawed. We put all of them on a pedestal, and then knock them down. Taylor doesn't deserve the hate that's being directed at her, but it's directed at her anyway. If you notice, a lot of the haters resort to using foul language. Personally, I think that is because they are frustrated and aren't able to understand or clearly articulate why they hate her. That frustration comes out as foul language. Taylor is not perfect. (My best guess is that she would be the first one to tell you that!) So maybe she could be a Greek Hero, being imperfect and all. :o) And I agree, it's a great cover!!!!

I think a lot of ppl dislike Swift because they see that she's a young, top 40s pop singer with a young fanbase, and automatically put her in the justin bieber/1D group that 'cool' people don't listen to...not to mention she's energetic and unapologetically honest about herself which isn't 'cool' either....but people forget that she writes her own music and is still very young - I think she's an amazing talent that will only grow in the future.
