I'd like to speak on behalf of an under-represented and (sometimes) misunderstood group: Male Swifties. While I can't speak for all of us, I am not a fan of Taylor simply "because she is hot". I, like many of you, am a fan because of Taylor's songwriting, who she is as a person, and what she represents for the future of music. I would literally need a short novel to explain all the reasons why I am a fan. Most of all, it does not come down to something so trivial as physical appearance.

Taylor knows what interviewers need to make a good show, and she actively helps them. In addition, she is really nice to all of the staff. These people don't just like her, they love her. These Aussies are treating her like a long lost loved one. There is no one like her.

Thank you for that, My dilema runs deeper, I am 55 and a Crazed Swifty. Of course Taylor Is adorable but her personality is deeply endearing her talent as a singer, writer and performer is unquestionable. It seems though that I am not allowed to be a fan as it would appear like I was just a dirty old man. I am not. When it comes to my fanship and Miss Swift I am closer to being a 14 yo girl. Yes but their hopeful songs, & in stay beautiful she's happy whether their together or not, she's happy that she got the chance to meet someone so beautiful that's why she says "don't you know your really gonna be someone, ask anyone and when you find everything you looked for, i hope your life leads you back to my door oh but if it don't, stay beautiful!" She talks about how much she loves him & thinks he's amazing & she gives him freedom. I think she like's sing about how beautiful he is & who's to say she doesn't think he is gonna come to her door. Cause the feeling I get is that they are going to be together. She says in hope that they will "if you & are a story that never get's told, if what you are is a daydream I never get to hold at least you'll know." (also she's talking about someone she doesn't know, just sees walking by & thinks is amazing) She wants to be withem but she'd be okay if they weren't because he had an in pact on her life, already. Songs are suppose to be about meaning and expression, they are suppose to sort of have a initial problem, but I think what makes a song beautiful or happy is how the person deals with it or get's over it. She's happy to sing it is what matters. Just like in made up you, she's telling someone how much she loves to watch them leave. but you could also say she's afraid of them leaving. Love story is a beautiful happy song, but you could say it isn't because her parents are trying to ruin it. It's a happy song because love is happy & amazing, that feeling overcomes a WHOLE entire song for me & i'm sure it does for the singer's to. Also in enchanted she has this belief that they will be together because he is so amazing, & when they speak it's like their handing notes back to each other in secrecy. She thinks they have a huge connection.
