I love that Taylor and Beyoncé are friends, and even went to each others movie premieres… and Beyoncé doesn’t leave the house for nothing ❤. Kobe’s daughters have been huge Taylor fans for years too, and she was friends with Kobe. He did interviews about her. She even highlighted one of his girls in her Eras tour movie and gave her her 22 hat🥰. She’s not just an amazing performer but also a remarkable human ❤

I went to the Reputation show and she commanded the stadium of 80,000 people from the minute she appeared. But she can also command the stage with just her and her guitar. Because she didn’t start in the industry as an adult it’s been exciting to watch her grow into this performer and woman. I would say she’s different than Beyonce but both are the top queens at what they do.

Cornelia Street Live from Paris is one of her best vocal performances in my opinion. It’s just her and her guitar and I think it show cases how she can do both - a huge show and make it amazing, and strip everything down to the basics and still captivate her audience.

I would have to go click my folders and rewatch and I love her interviews & behind the scenes etc. I’ve listened but not a Swiftie BUT use to be in the industry so certain things I knew fact from rumor with my different jobs, family and not hearsay. Ok let me say something. As of date her and Beyonce I believe are the only ones who are doing stadium tours. And to me they are both queens in their own unique way. Beyonce dances and sings her heart out and knows how to perform and give you a good show and I am sorry but I do put Taylor up there with Beyonce as a performer because just like Beyonce they both worked on their vocals and craft. I didn't think Beyonce was that great of a singer when she first came out with Destiny Child and then on her own, to me she got better over time and so did Taylor. But Taylor when she performs especially her Era's tour, she takes us through a story of each of her songs with her visual effects and her vocals; her singing, the way she sings her songs and her emotions. You don't have to be a great dancer to be a great performer and so with that said to me her and Beyonce are queens in their own unique way.

Now you see why Taylor wins so many Grammys. Just compare this song, for one, to Beyonce's cowboy song, that didn't win -- & Jay-Z gets all pissed off about it??? (+ acts like a sore loser too -- charming). And re dancing, that's thrown in by performers, generally, who can't do a show without them there to pad it up, frankly, & they don't often sing & dance at the same time. You'll notice that Taylor's dancers are always in the background & very often in the dark, just as silouettes. (I think Taylor actually needs dancers at this show tho -- the stadium holds 200,00+ people [sold out], + it has a 75'-100' wide stage + the extension in front!! And she's just one little girl there). Taylor never stops singing, you'll notice. Look at Adele, too. Adele doesn't dance herself, doesn't have dancers, won't be getting any & doesn't need to be getting any. Taylor just adds all this other stuff to make the show more enjoyable, more fun for ppl, adding in lots of eye candy re the stage itself. I think ppl certainly got their money's worth at the above concert!!!! Performers who write their own songs often don"t need to do much else but sing, really, I've noticed. I"m also thinking of Paul Simon & Graceland, for one. Ppl are fascinated enough with their lyrics, music hooks, & sentiment, I think, & get really focused on that. Re the bass -- I am a total bass freak too... I want to hear a big bad bass away out in front of EVERYthing else. The first time I heard the bass in this song, I couldn't get over how humungous their equipment & speakers have to be, for such a huge venue. I also thought, THAT bass is the kind where you also feel it vibrating in your chest & stomach -- also very thrilling!! I read that Taylor said, to get in shape for the Eras tour, she regularly ran on a treadmill while singing all 22 of her songs!! So that's why she seems to have enough breath & energy to spare in a show like the one above!!! She also doesn't talk to anyone before or after her concerts, to save her voice.
