One of my favorite Taylor quotes ever is “people greatly underestimate me on how much I’ll inconvenience myself to prove a point if I think that I’m right.” And while she didn’t really inconvenience herself with this song she absolutely went out of her way to ensure she made a very annoying song on purpose to irritate her ex forever with. And I aspire to be that level.

I feel like actual swifties really only get "ruffled" when people are outright disrespectful to Taylor. When people just give an honest opinion about whether they like a song of hers it's really not a big deal bc music taste is completely subjective and it's not expected that everybody like everything.

I think you’ll have a lot more respect for her - especially when she talks about performing this tour while experiencing disordered eating. 😢 Miss Americana was filmed around the Reputation tour, and she’s doing MUCH better there and can talk about it… and it adds another layer to her acrimonious relationship with the media.
