@@danielkingham9045 : I used to think the same way. I have a friend in Oregon that has spent the last 25 years living in an old, crumbling trailer. The wheels are still attached. He has a wonderful gay relationship and though his last husband died he had a lot of men to choose to be his mate. He is now engaged to marry a handsome, muscular gentleman. It boggles the mind, Steven isn’t rich at all he is actually very low income but he’s happy. I learned that’s the key to be happy and to be content what you have in life and you will attract others.

how couples (especially elder) of women and men look and "accept" i can not conceptualize (no pun intended). and of course tomorrow the (physical) "honeymoon" begins and enjoyed. to quantify, suggest this is some "achievement" over discrimination/ect. is wrong. like for 2000+ years our society (world) should of been conducting themselves like this and today "suddenly" we figured out it is correct and the centuries had (all) been "wrong". understanding in, the US, this is suggested/done as "legal". this is "not" judgemental; it is belief and statement. this is "not" the action of god and "faith". could not even fathom, think or understand having physical, emotional and touching/feeling another (adult) male like this. that is not "choice"; this is biological/emotional "fact". if another or moderator somehow see's this (comment) and wants to respond. please do not. just don't. it will have no effect on the truth of woman and "man". maybe just kinda this comment a "free" pass in your faith and ethical "beliefs" of husband and "husband" leave your "agenda" and thoughts elsewhere.

WOW! I am so proud of you two for sharing this with us and felt all along the beautiful day it must have been. This will be a souvenir that you will share for the rest of you lives together. I wish you a long and happy relattionship as much as I have, being in my 43 anniversary with my boyfriend, now my husband. It was not easy for us in 1979 when we started living together but we made it to today, one day at a time, falling in love each morning all over again and never going to sleep on a difference of opinion without forgiving each other. I just love seeing a beautiful gay wedding video and crying with happiness. My favorite thing is the mom walking her son down the aisle! How perfect. I know that videos like these are necessarily made by couples who are very well-off financially, to be able to afford such a perfect wedding experience, and poorer couples' weddings are just as wonderful, but since these sweet guys are lucky enough to be able to have such a lavish ceremony, I am really glad they decided to share it with the world. This was the wedding that looked like perfection. My husband and I always wanted something like this, but at the Netherland Plaza in Cincinnati, even though we don’t know anyone who lives there. We’re from Detroit and have always loved it since the first time we stayed there. We never dreamt we’d have the chance to marry. We met on a rainy evening while I was wandering around Tiffany’s. Someone tapped me on the shoulder, I turned around, and looked into the eyes of my future. That was 32 years ago. We moved to Atlanta 17 years ago. He had been trying for 11 years, every time his revue came around, to have me as a dependent on his health insurance. His company kept saying yes, but wasn’t sure how to go about it. Finally 8 years ago, they told us to just go somewhere and get married. It seemed so simple at the time, but we’d always wanted it to be special. We drove to North Carolina for a long weekend, and to get hitched. Within 2 weeks I was fully covered. We were thankful to finally be married, moved into a new house, but still wished we’d had a nicer wedding. Little did we know that was the least thing for us to be worried about. My dad passed away suddenly in 2016. During most of the year we had to wrap up everything regarding his estate, and ready my family home for sale. I can’t remember how many times I drove the 800 miles back and forth to work things out for a week, then drive back home. I’d not been feeling well. But I thought all of the drama in the last several months wasn’t helping. I saw a handful of doctors, maybe two handfuls. We finally met a doctor who wanted to do an exploratory on me. I was nervous, so was my husband, but we were happy I was finally insured. The day came, we checked into the hospital, I was wheeled into surgery, and the next thing I remember was waking up with my husband sitting next to me holding my hand. He had tears in his eyes and I thought, “this doesn’t look good”. He looked at me and whispered, “it’s cancer”. Then the real crying began. I had to start treatment immediately. Then have surgery, 2 weeks after Christmas. I ended up staying in the hospital for 2 months. Then came the fun of 2 months of chemo. I didn’t know what was going to happen to me, so I took all the time I had, and to thank my husband for everything, I bought him the car he wanted. It was the first time he’d smiled in a long time. I hope you both don’t take any day you have together for granted. It took a while, but you both found each other and it was meant to be. I hope you both are in good health, because it’s true, if lose your health, you’ve lost everything. It was fun being a guest at your wedding, it made think about the wedding we didn’t have, but we still have each other, 32 years later. Best wishes to you both, it’s never too late to wish you both well.
