I just want to say this. I absolutely love how simple this is. I love all of the detail and how “homey” it feels. It’s not too extravagant and it gives y’all time to really enjoy where you are now and gives y’all a chance to create your actual dream home on the same property. It won’t feel rushed either. Taylor! You have got to build a pond, and stock it with fish. My grandpa had 175 acres and he built two. Your kids will loooove fishing! It’s a great way to bond with your family. Sophia! Build yourself a little goldfish/koi pond with a little waterfall lol tons of flower beds and vegetable gardens! Ugh yall are living my dream.

That's quite a transformation! It went from a dark, cabin style feeling to a bright and welcoming home. It doesn't even look like the same place. I suddenly feel inspired to freshen up my place too, with a new clean coat of paint. What a difference! I absolutely love it, especially the hydrangeas and touches of blue! The driveway lined with trees is gorgeous as well! I love that you show the rooms that are still a work in progress. I have rooms like that too.Thanks for sharing your story. You have been through a lot of changes in a short amount of time. I applaud your hard work, smart choices and amazing progress. I'm watching again!

I just want to add, that they say you should be married 10 years before you build a house together. I’m OBSESSED with the classic grand-millennial/chinoiserie style! It’s so gorgeous and timeless! I would get a good sized shed and insulate it + run electrical to it and use it as onsite storage just so it’s easier on y’all to put things in, get things out. Plus, when you finally get your forever home built, it can be utilized as a play house, a school house (if you lean towards homeschool), a place to watch football games, etc. Until then, I think this home is perfect for y’all! It’s not always about having more rooms than you need or a bathroom for everyone but the love within the walls that make it a home.
