Also that statment is bullshit that other dancers see it not as a sport because the only thing a dancer wants is dance to be seen as a sport and not just a performing art. Saying it's not a sport pushes dancers down making us feel inferior because no body realizes how difficult it is do things like this or to go up on pointe because it's a performing art not a sport. One thing can be multiple things like dance can be a performing art AND a sport.

Practice. You need to build up lots of muscles to be able to jump super high. First practice a normal split leap then when you can do a normal split leap, try to gain the muscles to jump high. Watch your progress over the year from low to high.
