I'm really happy she's working so hard to overcome her past. I'm also really proud of her for rehoming some of her pets. I've had to do that before and it sucks hard. But you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes. And sometimes its the best thing you can do. It's about the animals needs, not about your wants . I hate it when people judge people for rehoming pets.

So many people don't realize it is a disease and it is a real problem that so many more people struggle with than they realize. You don't have to look like the stereotypical addict to struggle with addiction. Opiates are a very real and scary problem. So thankful to see you doing well in your recovery.

Addiction to cigarettes, addiction to caffeine, addiction to alcohol, addiction to food, addiction to exercise, and many more. They are all serious problems that people don't realize.

I just wanted to say, I was a subscriber way back, but unsubscribed because personally some of the stuff around the rate at which you were acquiring animals made me uncomfortable. I know how much work it is to take care of that many exotics, as I have done it, and I worried that you weren't able to keep up. But now I am resubscribed specifically because I think it is important to show people that sometimes you do have to reconsider your own ability to care for animals, and make a healthy choice for you and them to re-home them. I also am really proud that you are handling your recovery so seriously and discussing it realistically. I think the stigma keeps a lot of people from getting help, and I really like that you are showing people what it can be like.
