Almost every female reactor has said, "Let's just state the fact that Austin is singing this to me" so it cracked me up when you said you admit you fell a little in love with Austin. 😜 His girlfriend was in the studio be the camera, so he was singing to her, but it felt very personal to the viewer.

Thank you for your reaction. Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.

Couldn't agree with you more: they did an incredible job of this cover. It totally blew me away, too! It takes me a while to recover from the emotion every time I listen this song. Maybe it's his earlier training in musicals, but Austin's ability to completely adapt to the subject of any song they take on really showcases his acting talent as well. It's sometimes hard to keep in mind that it's the same guy delivering all these varied performances. Actually, these guys are all so ridiculously talented. I'm so glad they're together as a group, and I'm grateful that I can enjoy their music! Thanks so much for your reactions to Home Free.

Not just a wailer. He provides those wispy high notes when are rarely mentioned but are very characteristic of Home Free style, and if you check out his recent release of Bring Him Home you'll hear a tenor in full command of a magnificent voice, unusually agile and expressive.

Yeah, Percy Sledge was the man. He recorded that in 1966 when I was 13. I heard Michael Bolton had a recording of it in the 90's I think but I never heard it. Love Percy and Austin's versions.

Percy Sledge, from Alabama, sang it first and in my opinion BEST. Michael Bolton sang it later; but not as well as Percy Sledge did! There is NO comparison to Percy's version, except when HOMEFREE did their rendition! AND, it was uncomparable....by far, the best of ALL! Thank you for the wonderful critique that you did for HOMEFREE'S version of "When A Man Loves A Woman"! It was breathtaking, as was the MASTEPIECE of this beautiful song! In 2020 Austin and Tim went and did some back yard shows (highest bidders got the visits). The one I liked is them doing the song My Maria, covered by Brooks and Dunn and the original was from B W Stevenson. The shocker is that Tim took the lead not Austin. It sounds amazing.
