Isn't the putting matt so worn out that the ball keeps rocking back to the line leading up to the hole? Like we can see that on the video.. ball tries to go offline but it returns online

Definitely need new turf on that mat

We agree 100%, the putting surface does in fact get worn over time. However, the turf and cup are merely there to act as a surface with a physical target for the player to aim at and test with a consistent speed. Before each fitting, the launch monitor is calibrated and zeroed out to the center of the target cup. The player can physically “make” the putt on the putting surface but miss the putt on the virtual green that has been calibrated to 0.0 from the starting position.

I made the same comment earlier (above). They gave me the exact same response, which makes sense

Great video, thanks for sharing. There are some additional options if you go the My Spider route with a full 'plumers neck' for even more toe hang! Thanks gents!

Awesome review and putters !! I was custom fit last spring for an odyssey Eleven slant neck at Club Champion. Fit to 33 inches and 62.5 lie angle. Ironically they don’t have a weight kit for the Eleven so my fitter put strips of lead tape in the empty cavities near the face (toe and heel) to get the Swingweight up to D1 which creates a similar effect as the fang style putter did in this test. Only problem I see with these indoor putting mats they develop a “trough” over time and the ball stays in there and can skew the actual results. At CC their Mat is setup for a 7 foot putt. I see on here it’s closer to 10 ft.

any change you can test these vs the Tour series? Would love to know if these , at $199, are as good as the Tour models @ $349

Could you go over that eye dominance part again? I’m left handed/left eye dominant. So that means I should use a back line?

They didn't miss the center of the cup because it looks like there's a groove in that putting green that guides the ball right to it

anyone with a season with either of these under their belt and can give us a legit review?

slant neck or face balance?
@Truespecgolf Жыл бұрын
Face balanced and short slant available for both models

@@Truespecgolf if I twist the face easily, does a heavier mallet like 380g head make sense? Also which putter you deem most resistant to twisting and forgiving for the 2023 putter models?

I can see odyssey copying this next year. Soon we will be getting putters with adjustable hosels for loft 2-4 degrees

I think sik putters have different lofts on the face from 1-4 degrees
