Very good tutorial, well explained and detailed. I have never seen anyone add the extra 1-2” to balance out the 1-2” you came up from the bottom at the side. Thank You 🙂

Hello Sewmates, I know it’s been awhile and I am so happy to be back. Today I will be showing you how to make a basic bodice with a bust dart . Hope you find it helpful. Sending 8444 lots of love and 😘 kisses 😘 😘😘😘🤗🤗🤗🤗 Just a correction, at the front for the armhole shaping go up 3 inches not two inches….

Great tutorial. Do you have a fitted bustier pattern using this bodice? My daughter’s measurements are exactly the same measurements as this bodice, even the vertical measurements are the same 🙂🙂 (she is 34” under bust) I am going to be making her wedding gown and a fitted bustier tutorial using this bodice pattern would be very helpful.

Just another question, I have just very successfully drafted out this bodice, it looks great, but I just wondered how the top dart created when you folded the side dart down can be closed up? Or isn’t it supposed to be closed?

Hi, thank you so much for sharing, hope you feel better soon. But I didn't quite get why you went up by the 2 inches at the front armhole. Take care.
@TaylorMadeDesignsSewing3 жыл бұрын
Usually I divide the front into armhole line into two but because I went down on the front shoulder slant by 1.5. I went up from the chest line by 2

@@TaylorMadeDesignsSewing thank you for clarifying, I am one who usually have that problem where the garment will keep going towards the back on the shoulders. I'm glad to see that this pattern will rectify that. Thanks a million; take care.
