Tire size is a huge factor for cost to drift, I got similar wear from my S-chassis when it wasn't pushing huge power on 205/15's, but miatas look better with tiny tires 😀 Even with an LS I still get close a full event out of a set but it depends on heat management and driving style. Nice editing, too! It seems more polished but not overboard with POV changes.

I’ve been following you since your first video. Back in the day when LZ kept calling you Kevin lol. We actually met when I went to BC back in 2017 when I was picking up new coilovers for my 350z. I got out of the drift world for many years but I’m getting back into it with a Miata. Since I’m switching chassis I’m doing my KZbin research and came across this super old video. So much of it still holds true. It also really cool to see how far you’ve come. From a 2 car garage in a house you were renting with your buddies to the house you bought with that huge shop. Keep up the grind man. You are still my favorite KZbin channel to watch. You are still so relatable unlike many of the other channels out there.

This is so right. I wish i'd kept my NB. It was the most fun car to drift in, and I never even turbo'd it. I got it as a daily and then it got built into a little drifto fun car. I regret the day I sold it. I'm now looking at drifting my 32 skyline, and I have a horrible feeling i'm not gonna find it half as much fun as the MX5 (that's right, I live in the UK, and they're an MX5 here). I've already told people that if I don't get on with the Skyline, it's gone and i'm building a boosted NB MX5.

Where i live clean and rust free NA Miatas are getting much more expensive than NB Miatas. Will building the car be more expensive or is it essentially the same parts?
@gnarlylasagna74647 жыл бұрын
almost everything is the same between the NB and NA as far as chassis things, but the engine stuff may be different between the VVT on the NB idk how different that would be as far as turbo kits and such, so to keep it short it really depends what youre talking about. NB chassis are technically "better" as far as VVT and more modern aero and it ensures youll have the 1.8 not a 1.6, the NA will go up in price soon just because of the age
