When you talked about your grandpa and how he's been with you and watched you while you travelled, it really hit close to home and made me cry ugly. I miss my dad so, so much. When I visited his grave in my home town some weeks ago (living 8 hrs away), I sat down in the grass and talked to him. All of a sudden a large, brown dragonfly flew close and landed on my shoe, sitting there peacefully for a whole long while. I felt like he was there, he was listening and consoling me. It hurts so incredibly much that he's gone. But deep inside, I know he's still with me and my family. Thank you Taylor, for your inspiring words about your grandpa. ♥

When you were making the paper lanterns, the guy treated you like a teen or super young adult. I’m Vietnamese and used to it. The strictness and they poke fun of things... it sometimes feels like a peeve when they do that repeatedly though. But he was being super friendly to your mom as if she was a childhood or close friend. When my mom is with her age group of friends, she becomes this cute, young, excited, cheery person. It’s really refreshing to see her so happy and living life. Though in front of younger “children”, she is a strong, strict, gentle, smart mom. Soo basically, they treated you all like family hehe. Btw, the shrimp on sugar cane is also kind of a kid item too but all ages eat it since its good. My mom would say kids ate more with sweeter stuff but they don’t like putting a lot of sugar in things so she would cook things with sugar cane. Or like add condensed milk into drinks. She always complained that the only milk I drank as a child was sweetened lol. Plus, I always asked for the shrimp on sugar cane. You eat the sweet ground shrimp and then dip the sugar cane into water to suck all that sweetness out. I used to squat with my mom and we’d drink all that sugar out of the cane. Hahaha. I think the less kid version my aunt made was on a crab claw with a oval ball of shrimp/crab cooked at meaty side of the claw. Glad you had fun. I hope I can take my parents back to their hometown someday but they still fear the communist and bad memories...

Hi TayTay i’m Vietnamese and i’m also living in Danang, i have visited Hoian like a thousand time, I’m so greatful that you came and love my dear city. But hey, actually to really enjoy the “real” vietnamese food you should come to those old and small restaurants, where local people often visit, those restaurants have alot of review and high rate on the internet 😂 and the price also much cheaper, almost half the price of the restaurant you ate. I was quite shocked when i saw the price of the food you ate.

I love this kind of video’s! A mixture of a documentary and your personal life! You’re so good at that! About your grandpa, he was there with you, for sure! I discovered your channel on youtube a few weeks ago. I have been binge watching and it was quite funny to jump from ‘15 to ‘19 and vice versa. You go girl!! And I’m from your parent’s generation! You see, you can reach and inspire all kinds of people! As we say in Belgium 🇧🇪 “Toppie “ (D), “chouette” (Fr) or “toll” (G). Love 💕 you! 😘✨

We are going to Vietnam because of your instagram posts but we are going to Hanoi instead of Da Nang because the weather can be wet in Nov by the time we get there. Thanks again for the help on the visas, we got them! 😉

I can NOT stop staring at Taylor's eye makeup!! I'm new to makeup, someone please tell me what terms to search for to find a similar tutorial on KZbin 😭 It is SO beautiful, I love how fresh and youthful it looks on her!

I have seen many Hoi An videos on KZbin, but Nobody ever show the French area of this town. This town is more interesting than I thought. Thank you for sharing this video.
