This quarantine came at a time where I needed everything to stop, so it actually helped me a lot. I'm a huge introvert and don't really need to get out that much, so it doesn't even bother me at all and I feel at the best of my condition. I finally have time to study and do everything I love because I don't have to stress out about stupid stuff. I wish you a very good day Taylor, thank you for the video :)

I have felt so bad because anytime I say I needed this everyone calls me insensitive, and I understand that this is horrible that it’s happening. However, I was pushing past burn out and sleeping barely 4 hours a day when I would wake up in just panic everytime i fell asleep. My whole life was a mess and being in quarantine has given me much needed time to just stop for a little. I hope everyone is staying healthy and using this time if you need rest!

This has been so stressful... I’m 9 months pregnant, due at the end of the month. I can’t do the things I normally do to feel better and I’m struggling to sleep on top of pregnancy discomforts and anxiety about delivering in the hospital with all the regulations they have in place. No family allowed, just my husband and I. We can’t have visitors or help from family once she’s here. Some days I feel confident and I feel strong! Other days I feel defeated... I’m glad I can have one hell of a story to tell my baby girl about her coming into this world. But man... Just gotta keep my head on straight. Thanks for this video Tay 💗 I feel like it was a good start to my day to set me off in the right direction.

I hope your husband helps you and takes care of you. I was in the same position as you, where I was pregnant and alone with just me and my husband, and when I had my baby boy (he is 1 year and 3 months old right now), my husband was so so useless and didn't help with anything at all. I wish you luck for your future times ♥️
@arcanedame30154 жыл бұрын
Artemis thank you 💝 I’m very lucky to have a man who has gone above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable and happy and I think he’s even more excited for baby’s arrival than me. But even so, after birth life will change, stress will probably spike and I really hope we can keep it together.

I hope you have a good delivery and a happy healthy baby. Your really strong you've got this ❤ I'm so proud of you. Even though it is hard you will succeed.
@artemis70934 жыл бұрын
@@arcanedame3015 one advice that I would like to give you is that you have to be prepared to not sleep at night, like, at all. When we returned from the hospital with baby, both me and my husband were tired, and when baby woke up at night crying, it took a huge inner strength for me to even open my eyes and care for baby. I am glad your husband is helpful, because once the baby arrives, everything will seem like they are definitely on overdrive while you are just mentally and physically shutting down due to exhaustion. It's best to divide the work and do them based on priority; you can look after baby while your husband can, perhaps, cook for both of you, and do other chores- like laundry... Again, the very best of luck for your future ♥️♥️♥️

How skinny are you? Sorry if that's rude. What I mean is I'm like a 250 pound 6ft 3 Male and it definitely has health problems. Like I cant run as long or fast. Like guy to guy I'd honestly tell you to focus on your health. I just came off watching a bodybuilding video. So I'm kinda of a hypocrite looking at these much more muscular big guy thinking dam "I wish I looked like that and not kinda like jello". But, I dont think guys really ever talk about body Insecurity and I think we almost feel isolated when every guy probably also feels small and soft. Idk sorry for the rant good look mate.

@Aihg-hv8th4 жыл бұрын
I feel upset when skinny guys feel pressured to gain weight or get bukly bc that seems to be the ideal male beauty standard. I think as long as you are healthy you don't need to change ANYTHING. You are great the way you are! Don't change bc of other ppl or current beauty standards. I personally prefer a slim body type, I'm not into bulky bodies very much. You see, everyone has different preferences and likings. So if you want to change yourself imo you should only do it if YOU want it for YOURSELF not bc of society or whatever.

I truly have been noticing a big improvement in my personal mental health since I stopped checking the news constantly. I check the official update of our countrys main health institute once a day and then watch the news in the evening and that's it. Constantly trying to stay updated can (at least in my case) increase anxiety which can affect your overall immune system over time. I've had quite a big down in the last week (the 3 week mark for me) but I'm better now and it looks like my body and mind have come to terms with this new situation although I miss my friends a lot as they live all over the country and we usually visit each other whenever we can. I've always been an introvert who spent most of my time at home, but this pandemic really blew off everything I've been looking forward to for years. My graduation, my masters in Europe plans, my sister's wedding, and mostly my recovery from depression. It was just around the time that I got so much better, going out, meeting with people, getting shit done, I was so much happier and way more active. Then the quarantine hit like a meteor and I found myself back to square one struggling with depression again. I'm still trying to just let it go, but when you work for something for 8 years and it's gone, just like that, it's not easy to let go. Still struggling to adjust, even though I'm really not sure if I'll ever be able to get over it.

A lot of people are in quarantine, but some of us are still working as we're essential workers. It's nice to come back to this, your videos help me forget and relax even if it's just for a little.

I've seriously felt like crap for the past four weeks for not getting things done in at my normal speed and seeing this video really helped me feel at ease with feeling that way. Thank you Taytay

January and February were like a snow ball of dozens tasks for me. I was tried of everything and just wanted a break. And then the quarantine started like a refresh button. I used some days just to rest and recover. So now I feel a lot better. Damn I really needed it

I love your videos like this one. You calm, steady positivity is so helpful and boosting for me. Even when I can tell you are stressed too, your honesty and realness is so comforting I know everything will turn out ok in the end, but the occasional lapses of feeling helpless and useless make it seem like it will never end sometimes. This weekend my boyfriend and I decided to revisit childhood a little and we built this awesome blanketfort in the basement and put cozy Christmas lights in it. I even set up the old super Nintendo So we've been escaping the darkness at time by chilling in the fort It seems silly but it is great. Again I love your videos, thank you for making content like this

I loved this video, it was so soothing yet encouraging. This pandemic didn't come in a good moment of my life and messed up many plans I had, one of them being a new job opportunity that had come up. But I'm taking it day by day and learning a bunch of new recipes which is something I'm enjoying.

I loved this video so much, a lot of people are putting up the act that they're being productive 24/7, and while I know some people might not be as affected by this as others, imo we need to see more transparency from social media like this!! Thank you for making this video, I hope you, Tom and Rosie are staying safe and healthy!

Wow, Taylor, thank you so much for this video. I feel like now (end of December 2020) you seem to cope a lot better for yourself. For me it was the other way around. In March-May (Germany lockdown) I was out in the garden everyday working working and really "enjoying" the first weeks of the whole situation, but now, being a student, I've been stuck at home alone since mid October and I feel like you described yourself (anxious, wanting to stay in bed, restless ). Thank you for sharing this (I only watched this video now ) Happy new year!

There are so many things I wanted to learn and do after my exams and now they have been cancelled and will be rescheduled. I have all the time in the world but I just can't get myself to do anything productive, not just studying even just cooking for myself seems like a chore even though I love cooking.

Dear Taylor, many times I have wanted to let you know this but never did. I have a chronic (mental) condition that leaves me in a state of depression most of the time, due to the anti depressants I am taking it tampers it, so it's bearable. -pardon my English for mistakes as my main language is Dutch- so; what I wanted to let you know is every time I watch one of your vlogs you make me feel better. Like a vibe of what 'happy' feels like again, with your sillywilly things that you do and your intelligence and happy&sad moments that you share. I wanted to thank you for 'being you' because you really lift up the good spirit in people and I'm sure I am not the only one here feeling that way! You make people feel more happy and that is such a great gift. Wishing you the best in life, thanx and greetz from Vicki V from Belgium :)))

Taylor, you don’t need to worry about the world seeming healthier while “we’re not a part of it”. People forget-we’re always a part of the world because everything we eat, wear, and interact with comes from it in some manner. The world “healing” from our lack of presence is a fallacy- it’s not our lack of presence, it’s our reduced use of fossil fuels and similar damaging forms of transport and energy. The world could be like this all the time if we changed to other energy sources. Signed, A Very Tired Environmental Sciences Major

Thank you for not pushing being productive 24/7 and letting us know it’s okay to have bed days! I’ve been seeing too much media around pushing to do as much as you can during this time, and it just made me feel even worse. I find by you physically saying that you have “bad” days too comforting in knowing I am not alone. You really gave me motivation too to do some simple things to help me keep going though. On a personal note, my Grandmother passed away a few weeks ago, and I find myself really stuck in mourning, as I feel like i’m mourning for her and our entire world on top of that. Thank you for the video though! It is very helpful and a motivator for me :D

When you started talking about your Nana alone in the nursing home, made me so sad. I recently started a food service job in a nursing home, serving the residents their meals and some of them are so sweet and talk about missing their loved ones. I can't wait for the shut down to be over so everyone can go visit.

Sometimes I don't need to be "online", so I just turn off everything and just open a nice book to read. :) That helps also to get less anxious about the world we all live in right now. Thanks Taylor for the video you made. It helps me feel also less lonely and more connected too. :D Greetings from Belgium btw!

It's amazing for me to see these kind of vids. My life is not that different from usual tbh. I live in the Netherlands, so intelligent lockdown means people are free to decide when and where they go. However, people do stay at home mostly, lots of shops are closed, all bars/restaurants etc. But I work in a supermarket and still work. Work is crazy. Just.. a three hour shift feels like a full day at work. I was never one for going out much (introvert!) so I don't miss much. I see one friend once a week, my boyfriend lol. Always indoors, we never go anywhere anymore, duh. And festivals etc are cancelled, so I miss those. But for me, life is not all that different. Is quite surreal for me to see these vids. But hope you're staying strong and happy, having a partner and a pet can make all the difference. I live with mom and our two cats.

Great video, thank you so much! I completely agree, it's important to try to set yourself up for some kind of security for the next few months, or even years, as things are always changing, and we cannot know (those of us whose workplaces shut down especially) when they will reopen. I've been practicing music more, to deal with some of the emotional difficulties of being alone (I live alone with no closeby family). I've also found some days are much harder than others, but I know I will kick myself if I find myself at the end of this with nothing new accomplished. Thanks so much for sharing your perspective I found it really helpful.

Yesterday I had an AMAZING DAY and I was so productive! Today I felt like shit when I woke up. I’ve been hiding in my “dark cave” playing animal crossing feeling guilty that I am not productive. But this video reminded me that it’s ok to have bad days during these uncertain and uncomfortable times. Love you and your videos Taylor ❤️ you are so real and relatable 🥰

I’m from Spain, it has been over a month since the quarantine started here and I’ve been having a hard time to keep up productive with my uni stuff and exercise/stay healthy... I already gained so much weight but food helps me to endure this lockdown and current situation. I was suposed to graduate from uni this year and now I don’t know what’s going to happen, I had a flight booked for Japan (my graduation trip, I have dreamt of visiting Japan for years now) in July which is almost 100% sure is going to get cancelled, my dad was in the hospital for a month... I just feel like my life is falling apart but I still keep blaming myself for not keeping up and gain weight/not staying as healthy. Things like this really help, thank you Taylor 🤗

I loved this video ❤️ I’ve been feeling a bit down the past few weeks my friend told me she was expecting a baby and me and my partner have been trying for 3 years so it nocked me a bit and I’ve been in a little hole since. This video has really made me feel like it’s okay to feel your emotions but it’s also good to try and get up and start to focus on things that will make you feel happy ❤️

Aww, poor Nana. That's such a lovely idea, to send her a gift package! My parents and grandparents have been gone for a long time and I don't have any other relatives in care homes - thankfully. I'm in Canada and those places are getting hit really hard by the virus. Thank you for the video, it was relaxing and fun to see how you are spending your time! :)

Hey Taylor. I know how you feel when you pretty much become stagnant or depressed (I have that problem despite the virus). I would recommend opening windows often even if just for a couple hours at a time. Doing that really changes the energy of my home and makes me feel like doing more. It’s like letting nature’s energy in and my negative energy out. Maybe it’ll do the same for you and others.
@1budgielover4 жыл бұрын
Haha I agree :P Usually my brother or mom will come into my room like "let some air in, it's stuffy in here" and although I complain cuz I don't want to feel cold air I usually feel a lot better after :P Thanks to them hehe. I'll try doing that every morning though. It helps to hear the sounds from the outside and feel the fresh air come into the room. And like you say, let the negative energy out :)

Thank you for this video, it's nice to know that other people are feeling the same way! ✨✨ It's been kinda rubbish for me as I have just been so stressed about not being able to see friends and family, and I'm missing them so much. And watching the news just makes me so emotional. But I am keeping my self busy by running for 30 minutes a day and eating better! And doing positive things. Like you it doesn't always work out that way but I try and plan too! ❤️❤️😘💕💕
