It reminds me of my old balled python who would try following me around my house whenever she was out of the cage. Nobody could believe it when I would show them how I would set her in a room or area away from me and she would slowly always come to me. She loved it when I would set her in my chair and play video games. She would curl ur around my waist or next to me in the same chair. Probably for the warmth. But she had such an awesome personality.

I think it’s cool how some reptiles really bond, I know for a lot of people they don’t believe that, but I had a Savannah monitor I saved that had severe foot necrosis from a bad owner. I got him fixed up, handled him regularly and he truly enjoyed laying on my leg, my arm, you could tell by body language he was relaxed because he would spread out and dangle his legs, unfortunately because of the foot issues he only lived about 2.5 years before his whole body was full of cancer and he passed.. but I’d like to think he enjoyed the 2 years he was with me

My mom chameleon named rango anytime she opened the cage of his door, he would come rushing from wherever he was. It didn't matter if he was at the bottom, back, side or top the moment my mom opened that door hes there. A favorite activity of his was to climb up to mom shoulder and watch as she clipped the tree in his cage. He was the sweetest chameleon we had ever owned, unfortunately he ended up passing away. And it wasn't due to old age unfortunately, he just suddenly couldn't breathe properly. And we ended up rushing him to the vet, very worried he wouldn't make it given how weak he was breathing. But he hung on, unfortunately even with him being in a oxygen tank. He was still struggling, he was suffering so we had to put him to sleep. There was no chance of him getting better. I still do really miss him, and it was sad the way he had to go. But at least I can say he lived a comfortable, happy and very much loved life

So for those of you coming back through here because this was in your recommended, there's a common myth about chameleons that I need to inform you of because it's relevant to this video: chameleons have a docile color scheme which changes based on temperature and includes natural, camouflaging colors. They also have an emotional color scheme designed to impress the ladies, which includes bright, non-camouflaging colors. Seeing as nowhere in the world that chameleons live does the land look like a candy-cane murder scene, this chameleon is not just happy to see his owner, he LOOOOOOOVES his owner. Big time. Like, almost romantically. It's really sweet. This dude is so happy that he looks at this human with the same fondness as a member of his own species. That's true love folks, and you can't fake that for the internet.

Um... It's pretty common. My dogs literally try to murder each other but insist on sleeping *under* my body. They're *obsessed* and sit at my feet when I'm on the toilet, lie down behind my step ladder, etc. Interesting enough, they also have a tell that show's me they love me "almost romantically" 😆 Well the two boys have a tell anyways... the girl doesn't have lipstick to pop out 😆 I think animals usually love us more than each other; don't you think?
