I was never really a Taylor Swift fan, just liked a few songs here and there. But the first time I heard this song!! (I am a Christmas song snob. I loathe pop stars ruining classic Christmas carols or making up new cringey ones. And don't get me started on country stars twanging out Bing Crosby songs. Ugh!) When I heard this song, I knew it was a new classic! It sounds like Christmas, it feels like Christmas, Christmas imagery is perfection, melody is catchy and singable, lyrics smooth and unforced.
