Begin Again (Taylor's Version) lost the fragile innocence of the OG version: a heart newly broken, desensitized by trauma and being treated by your ex like shit, a heart only starting to heal. begin again is the best ending for an album as it is as state of grace is the best starter for an album. they both talked about freedom from feelings that are talked through the songs in between. i love this so much.

Me in my 20s listening to this song going back in time to when I was in my teens and just feeling every emotion again is so nostalgic, I love you Taylor!!

Takes me back to my younger years. The heartbreak I experienced as a teenager. This song gave me hope then. Now listening to it as a married woman with 3 little boys. The nostalgia hit me hard. Taylor did it again and even better! ❤️

Can we just appreciate that the flower keeps blooming as the relationship blooms. I feel like that its the perfect representation of this song.

Begin Again was such a nice ending for Red & a bright beginning for 1989. Let's all begin again to listen to the sad, beautiful, & tragic masterpiece called Red

This has been a highschool jam back then. It always felt like a transition to another major journey or beginning of the a chapter of life. She still got the feels.

I always thought her placement of this song on the album was genius cause it gave so much hope for a very emotional album yet hinted at playing the whole thing over again. This song will always be so special to me ♥️

EXACTLY! Yes! The track list is perfectly explaining the 2 lovers story. From beginning to end, it tells their story. Then at the end, she sings Begin Again saying she's trying to find a new love who will treat her better. At the end she says, "I watched it begin again..." and then my CD loops back to State of Grace. I LOVE IT! ♥

This song is so meaningful and shows how one can begin again in their life despite the heartbreaks and rejections as the right person eventually comes when we try again in our life. Just loved it❤❤
