The same thing happened to my husband and I. We were the first couple in our friend group that had a baby and we were dropped so fast. It was three years later that two other people from our group had babies and we were suddenly getting phone calls which we didn't answer. I'm sorry it happened to you.

@@taylorwynn thanks! That was several years ago but it’s still something I deal with now. I’ve got some really amazing friends in my life now. Two of the 3 are child free so my babies get bonus aunties and it’s wonderful 🥰

I am so sorry to hear that! In fact our case was the exact opposite, husband and I got married when most of our friends were having kids and they only wanted to hang out with other people with kids. I understand it to an extent but it was surprising to see people completely drop you based on whether we have children or not!

I lost my best friend of 8 years when I started having kids. It wasn't entirely that, but kids did have a part in it. We lost a lot of people, but she hit the hardest. Haven't spoken to her in 5 years and I still tear up over it. We have some amazing people on our corner, but losing people you thought were super close never really gets easier.

OK, I just cried watching the end of this vlog. I think I’m not alone in saying that even though we are complete strangers to one another, I consider you a friend Taylor. When you are happy and enjoying life and feeling healthy, I get so happy for you. Seeing you emotional and in pain, hurts my heart! When you said living in NYC these past several weeks made you feel more alive than you had felt in a long time, and that you had more “healthy” days, I just started crying. We all want the best for you! Hearing you tested positive for COVID, I’m worried about you. I hope you recover quickly and are able to proceed with your next adventure. Ok, I hate migraines, that being said. I also have a chronic migraine illness that is unpredictable and debilitating. I'm so glad that you say "migraining" as well, because I don't think people understand that it's a whole thing. It's not "just a headache" it's so so so much more and uncontrollable. I usually get a 2-3 day postdrome with mine. I'm almost always down for 3-5 days each time. It's worse during the changing seasons, I can go 11 days with a full on migraine, those take me 7-8 days to recover. I'm glad to hear that you had a good chunk of non pain days to enjoy NYC. I was just in NYC the week of the 12th and the weather was so mild. I had kids with me so it was hectic and we got lost a ton (Uber saved the day a few times). It's nice watching this from a grown up perspective as I def need to get back and have some "adult" time. Black tap Craft Burgers and beer in Soho was delish and their shakes....amazing!
