I decorate our kitchen table for Valentine’s Day the evening before, after the kids go to bed… flowers, balloons, candy, stuffed animals. It’s definitely extra, but my kids are excited to go to bed the night before knowing they will wake up to it. My favorite brand of toys for my aussie is from Bark Box, the Super Chewers line! You don’t have to subscribe to their box to get the toys, Target sells them individually! I don’t like the plasticy ones, but the hard rubber covered in fabric are great. They chew the fabric off quick but the toy underneath is indestructible. My boy loves them and we’ve had the same ones for almost a year.

I get my girls something each year for them and their BFFs. They both live across the US and they love getting them! Going to Coldplay at the Rose Bowl! Cold Play concerts are fab! Taking my niece and nephew!

Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday solely for the merch! I love hearts and inorporate them into my year-round decor. I love getting little valentine presents for my kids (they're in elementary school). I typically get them a small box of chocolates and a mylar balloon and some cutesy little plushie or toy. And my husband and I usually cook a nice meal at home and watch a movie on TV with lots of snacks-- nothing fancy.

It's my 40th on Valentine's Day and my fiance's birthday. We're going away the weekend before, haven't done anything for ourselves in soooo long.

Regarding V Day- We have 5 kids (ages 12-5). We always make a big fancy dinner (with menus and the nice china and glasses!) for our kids. We give them handmade cards about all the things we love about them and give little candies too. For us, our kids are representations of our love for each other. They always look forward to it every year and it brings us a lot of joy. We then typically will go out on a different night alone when we can get a babysitter and the prices are not hiked up.
