Hey guys! For those of you asking if it would work better with a setting powder, I tried it with a powder today on Snapchat (thataylaasnaps), it's only 1 pm and it looks ratchet AF. Don't think this one works for me, but feel free to watch other reviews and form your own opinions like usual! xx Thanks for all of your support on this series, you guys rock. #baerritos

Oh man, you used WAAAAAAY too much girl. That's why it looked like a corpse mask. It's extremely pigmented. You start with the "triangle dots"; blend; do your brows or something; then go back and dot more on where needed and blend. Think of it like nail polish- a few thin coats, rather than one that's thick and gloopy. I have "normal" to dry skin (super dry in winter) and I'm in love with this foundation. I believe I use the shade you did- second to lightest, which is a FIRST for me! (Often even the lightest shade is too dark for me.)

Meghan Coppola I recently bought this and I’m loving it for my super dry skin this time of year. So far it’s my favorite foundation!

Do you use a brush or a beauty blender? I can’t really afford the brush that comes with it but I have some similar, but even though I always use a beauty blender the lady at the counter said beauty blenders don’t work with this foundation?
@brittfansler95415 жыл бұрын
Hannah Lloyd I don’t use the brush that comes with it but I use a similar brush and once it’s on and blended I go over it and press it in with a beauty blender. This is a really beautiful foundation and lasts a lot longer than my other stick foundations.

+thataylaa YES!! Made for theater (& very popular amongst Drag Queens), it's a FULLFULLFULL coverage stick foundation. Easy to cut with something else to lighten up for every day use too, not just the stage. In Seattle you can get it at Champion, the party supply store, but call ahead to make sure it's in stock.
@Jonawtawn8 жыл бұрын
thataylaa Yes you should. I always wear it for my drag makeup, but for natural skin makeup, it works too, just use less amount than drag makeup. Full coverage and really blocks my crazy oily face and very matte. My acne and discolorations of my face arent peeking through, and my sensitive acne prone-skin never break out with that foundation. But maybe its different for you, but if you use it, maybe you'll like it :)
@metroskyes59748 жыл бұрын
I got many compliments on this in blanc when I was wearing it. however it set very patchy and dry. both times i wore it. going to try applying it with a little oil and if it doesn't work probably return it. if you know anything with that same shade, I'll love the recommendation

ok so I have never ever committed to a KZbin make up guru ever, but I am completely obsessed with your 15 days of foundation. I literally countdown until the videos come out. You seriously rock.
@AnnaEvgenPhotography8 жыл бұрын
Taylor, you're such a gift on KZbin! I'm from Germany, where we don't have that much famous brands to test and try out, and I'm always grateful for your honest reviews, before I'm buying any foundation! I'd interested if you could do a review on the tone of your best foundations - you're more of a neutral, I'm totally yellow undertoned & find myself struggling finding a light shade, which is clearly yellow - not neutral, not beige, just straight and only yellow. Would be very grateful if you could tell which foundations you own are the most yellow or cool or beige toned! PS: I always follow your swatches, but it's always different foundations to compare.. Thank you so much! Anna
@taylorwynn8 жыл бұрын
Hi Anna- thanks so much! NARS sheer glow in Siberia is pretty yellow toned and pale, I think I'm going to be doing a video breaking down foundations by undertone soon so that should hopefully help you out :)

Hi. I feel your pain! I'm a pale princess and very yellow undertoned but fair. It is very difficult to get foundations for our skin undertone. The. Eat matches I've found so far are: Nars Sheer Glow in Gobi, Make Up Forever in 117. The Giorgio Armani Power Fabric in shade 2 is a pretty decent match and the GA Luminous Silk in shade 3 is also yellow undertoned. Also try the IT Cosmetics CC cream (it's more like a full coverage foundation) in shade Fair. Hope this helps. Rhianna

Britt Fansler it’s awesome!! I used to use too much and it could look a bit cakey, so I learned to tone it down a bit and it looks perfect now 😊 I still use more than what they say to though lol. I think they say to use like a stamp method 3 times on each cheek? 😂 Lol unless I had near perfect skin already that would not do much for me in the coverage department.

I’m curious how you feel about this Foundation now that your skin is on the drier side...Arna Alayne just did a full review and mentioned she like it a lot better on her skin now that it’s more normal than when she tried it before (when her skin leaned a bit more oily)

I honestly love this foundation. It never makes my face look cake or oily. I apply and blend, wait a bit to do my brows and then apply more since it melts to the heat of my face. After that, I conceal and set and apply the rest of my makeup and it looms flawless ALL day. I think she just applied too much at the beginning and the shade was way too light for her. And of course, she has extremely oily problematic skin and she should have set it to avoid the amount of oil she had after a few minutes.

Cypryss B What is your skin type? :)
@thefryinator7774 Жыл бұрын
I've been using this foundation for years now and my taste in coverage for my face has changed, I even get less acne and I do a stripe on my forehead, down my nose, one on each cheek, and a little one on my chin. That's seriously all I need to cover everything important and my skin looks flawless while letting my natural smooth skin shines through. People really don't even realize I'm wearing foundation with my light application.

If i could show you a normal pic of me with no filter, you'd see that im by no means pale - but i really respect the fact that instead of calling yourself 'pasty' , you call yourself and other beautiful light complected girls 'pale princesses'. I love it 💜👑 its just a cute term

@effacalorie8 жыл бұрын
It is cute but I think she's using it ironically, if you've ever been to r/MakeupAddiction. There's a sort of running joke that super pale girls there compete to be the "fairest pale princesses of them all". For example: If you try to make a post there about a lightest foundation being too dark then you're bound to hear someone call you a "pale princess" for it.
@xRiniX666x8 жыл бұрын

The term PPP pale porcelain princess has been around for decades tho. Like we'd used to refer to very light foundation shades as ppp shades. I'm personally a ppp myself and believe it used to be really popular when makeupalley was still alive and kicking may be 10 years ago.
