Bro let the gas dry out of the tank and put a thick layer of jb weld on the whole bottom of the tank. Will seal it and give you material to scrape..

My automotive teacher recommended using a candle 🕯 scrap it where the leaks is at. That should get you back home temporarily

If you really wanna use tape on the gas tank temporarily, I’d recommend some marine boat, tape, gasolines gonna eat right through that gray duct tape that you have on the tank
