Totally agree with how amazing the walk to the falls are. My husband couldn't walk all the way down so he sat at the top of the hill and literally talked to the trees. He said he'd never seen such beauty in trees before. The Myrtles were beautiful and I used to say hello to them. The drive out was quite spectacular too. Ps I watch all your videos on Tassie, thank you they were so helpful

I've been been watching all your videos and those of your mates since you started this great photographic journey of Tasmania. And I just realized I had not posted any comments on yours, thought I had. I was in Australia years ago with friends, not a photographic journeyer, although I did take snapshots. I tried to encourage the group to take a side trip to Tasmania, sadly without any luck. So, your journey has been great for me. And I have thoroughly enjoyed each of with you, with similar but different images. Since I first started watching your vlog, I was impressed by your steady, logical approach, you always seem to create perfect compositions. And on this trip, with all the, rain, cold, snow, tight living quarters, you did the same. Your method, approach to photographing the opportunities you had, always seemed to be approached with such confidence that you would make great compositions regardless of the constraints. You have all done so well, with what I had to say was a real challenge with all the rain. Surely the best part was just being there, with mates, enjoying the opportunities and taking away great experiences and memories. Thanks to you and all three for sharing you adventure. One question, did you make the video for the place you got an upgrade on your van? Just curious.

I don’t know what it is about this falls.... but I think it was one of my favourites. The way it just appears from the trees like there is a magic curtain and then disappears into a misty mess below.... just magic. Great video mate. I’m missing that canned soup!

Thanks, as always. Top portrait shots! You'd never guess Tasmania was in Australia; totally different to WA and Qld. Cool temperate rainforests. Mike in Oz

Amazing falls Andrew. Philosopher's reminds me very much of two tall vertical falls here in NY that are always challenging to capture due in part to the "elements" you describe. The compositions are always straight forward, battling the weather variables is always the bigger challenge (but also fun!). Continue to be amazed by the landscape there - magical. Cheers!

Not much to experiment with composition there, but I liked what you did with that first shot (the 2 second one). I like how it emphasizes the height of the falls.

Try sticking an umbrella between you and your backpack so its hands free, works if there is not too much wind!!! if you get time would be great to see a film of all the B roll put together as you have captured some beautiful shots!!!!

Brilliant, Andrew! I absolutely love the tree ferns. We have them here but only in peoples gardens. The forest looks very much like it is here without perhaps the large trees?

I think the drone footage is the best!! Do more. Walking down the trail I was expecting to see a Hobbit jump out at you. Put some of that great talent to work on some woods shots. Enough of the waterfalls.

Another great episode Andrew and you worked hard for that image given the weather. So whats your overall impression of the D850, are you happy you made the switch?
