Good catch. Just caught my first T&P train yesterday. Do you know any schedules or times that these trains leave Peoria?

TZPR jobs are based out of the East Peoria Yard (specifically the Creve Coeur diesel shop off Wesley Road). Industry Jobs work to Pekin and back daily, usually leaving by late-morning and returning by mid- to late-afternoon. Liberty Steel & Wire is current on temporary (hopefully) shutdown so the weekday Industry Job to and from Kickapoo Yard, also leaving in the morning and returning in afternoon, may be annulled at present with a Lead Job handling remaining business. Another Industry Job works BioUrja, PMP Fermentation Products and Komatsu, though I never know if I'm seeing that or another Lead Job. Lead Jobs also work ADM Grain Co's grain elevator and barge loadout at Hilliards (Creve Coeur) on Wesley Road, and nearby MacroSource/Cargill Oil Storage. If Iowa Interstate handles ADM feed pellets from Cedar Rapids in winter, those jobs may work Hilliards twice per day. Jobs Are Industry 1, 2, 3 and 4 (on duty around 3pm, often works a IMRR/Powerton Turn) and Lead 1, 2 and 3, which work the East Peoria Yard and nearby industries as necessary. An Extra may be called when needed.

@samstranghorwitz Besides IMRR 43, which is actually an SW1500, TZPR has 1520, an ex-A&N SW1500, two SW10s (1351, 1352) and 2133, an ex-NS GP38-2. From time to time, IMRR 2084 (GP38-3) and 2108 (GP38-2) may be borrowed. A Various TP&W units are borrowed as well, and TZPR 2133 has been used on IMRR and TP&W as well.

@samstranghorwitz Not sure on horns. TZPR Lead Jobs work across W. Washington Street at times, and longer locals from Pekin may need head room there to double into the yard (BNSF M-GALPEI and Iowa Interstate SIPE may need to do this as well). Transfers to and from the TP&W can be seen, but there is no set time. TP&W's EP2, EP3 or EP-X trains may run through here most days but like TZPR there is no set time. Norfolk Southern's weekday D49 job from Good Yard in Normal and return may arrive late-AM or early-PM and then leave within an 1-2 hours, depending on the size of the outbound. TP&W also gets BNSF and UP grain trains for loading at Cruger (BNSF), Chenoa (BNSF and UP) and Indiana (UP) with run-through power. Movements will be heavy for week or two then drop off until the next cycle.

David? What time will some trains depart the Tazewell yard. What time could i see trains around Peoria and Creve Couer and Pekin. what are some other trains i could see and what times. Sorry if im asking to many questions. I just love trains i dont know the times around here. Also do you work for the railroad. If so what time is your train and where could i see ya?

@samstranghorwitz I don't work in the railroad industry. No definite times on TZPR jobs leaving or returning to the East Peoria Yard. That's going to vary by workload. Did you see the Norfolk Southern local today? It left East Peoria with four motors, a GP38-2 from Des Moines (handled by IAIS on 92-day inspection) and 20 cars, including several Caterpillar tractor loads, which tend to move on Mondays.

@samstranghorwitz It was reported at Deer Creek around 3:07 this afternoon, so it probably left East Peoria about 2:30. Had I known about it, I would have gone after it.
