I just looked up the box score for the game and the Blue Jays pretty much needed all of it as they won only 10-8, adding a clutchness factor to the performance.

Moving to Toronto, Canada at the age of 10 and never been exposed to baseball before, Carlos Delgado totally made me fall in love with the game. I use to try and mimic his moves as a little kid!

I never wanted the Yankees to face the Bluejays during the early 2000s because of this man. Carlos Delgado was a scary raw power hitter that use to kill us.

Those Jays teams were led by Carlos Delgado at the plate and 'Doc' Halladay on the mound. They flirted with a shot at the wildcard in 2003 but ultimately finished well back of the Red Sox that year. It's a shame that none of those Jays teams ever made the postseason with Delgado and Halladay, but at the same time the Yankees and Red Sox were the dominant teams in the division, the Jays always wound up in 3rd place as a result.

I remember seeing the highlights on Sportscenter and the last homerun actually pinged off of the window, and they actually showed a view from inside of the restaurant and you could hear the ball hit with a loud thud. I am willing to bet that last homer was 500+ feet.

Carlos Delgado my favorite baseball player of all time. I attended over 20 games with him as a Blue Jay and always watching him belt the ball over the wall was the best thing to see ever. I nearly even caught a ball homered by Tony Batista too lol

To me he was a borderline guy for HOF. He had 30 or more HRs in 10 straight seasons. consisted every year. Sad and mess up he didn't even stay alive in da ballot.

That fourth homerun has to be at least 480ft but somehow it does not show on the top 10 longest homeruns ever hit at Skydome/Rogers Centre. That landed high on the restaurant area he crushed that ball. They must have not been able to record the actual distance on it.
