Hi! I remeber very well how I felt when I tried my first flips: I started too early and crashed 3 helicopters on one single day: 1 OMP M2 and 2 OMP M1's. That felt terrible. So after this experience I waited some months until I got all orientations much better and was trying it again. With much more succes. From then on I took myself more time and reduced the pressure on myself and the crash rate went down. Until I starded to try inverted too early and all over again the crashe rate increased! You have a very beautiful flight spot! Congratulations and keep on training!!

Hi thanks for the comment, it's a steep learning curve for sure. I'll get there eventually

@@andre-dx4yw I am sure you will. For me it was important to take my time and go step by step! Then everything went much better.

Sounded like it cut power when you went upside down. Make sure whatever mode you were in stunt 1 and 2 have something like 80,60,50,60,80 throttle curve or if you got a governor just flat line curve it. Not sure about electric but on my nitro’s running ikon 2 65% flat curve is my stunt 1 head speed and 85% is my stunt 2 head speed. Than the head speed is setup in my ikon to whatever I set it at for those percentages. It sounds like a lot but it gets easier trust me I learned on a raptor 30 with zero clue what I was doing. Take all the blades off and flick it in whatever mode you want to flip it and make sure the motor doesn’t cut out with negative pitch. I can try and help you if that’s not the problem as best as I can to figure it out

hi thanks, so i run 70-80% flat throttle curve in idle up1 so i just assume it would stay at that wether in negative or positive pitch, but i do get what your saying i have tried on 2 models so far and they both behaved the same way, just wanted to fall out the sky.

I'm a learner too. Good flight 👍

thats madness trying to learn fLips on a heli that size lol, my first flips were on a BLADE MCPS i even hand launched it inverted and the went to upright again, u need to get confident on a small heli that can crash with not much if any damage that will bring u on alot faster and cheaper

I did try on a 280 size first and that ended the same way

@@andre-dx4yw 280 still big compared to an m1 lol

I learned how to fly on a raptor 30. First time I went to hover upside down it got stuck there due to lack of power/pitch. Finally after 3 minutes it leaned out before it ran out of fuel and I got enough height for me to flip it over, terrible experience lol. Swapped the 30 out for a 50 and eventually got half way decent and could tictoc. Some reason it took me 10 years of flying to get a simulator but at that point it was just to learn new maneuvers I was to afraid to learn with without a reset button

@@calank923 the sims are great i like to get good on that before i go and crash anyway lol but at least u hav half a chance.!

Hi, just about to buy a TB 40 and transfer all my electronics from my old Warp 360. Just an observation on your flip. When you flipped to inverted, the motor sounded like it cut. Are you sure you have a linear throttle curve?

What size battery u run in the tb40?

That was me to asked your about that I ended up to buy rs4 Venom Even I bought all servo ,2set blade and extra battery tray But I just bought omp m4 max and it arrived with several parts manufacture defective so I’m very disappointed and bad feeling And beside of that I don’t is it true to have 3 same heli class?its not better to get rs7 instead of rs4?then I remember blade and parts price and I know its hard to afford it after crash lol I’m stuck and confused 😢
@andre-dx4yw9 ай бұрын
hi so did you buy the rs4 venom? or did you buy the omp m4 max instead? or did you buy both? as for the rs4 and rs7 larger helis always have a higher parts cost, for me i love the larger helis and i think the 550-600 is the sweet spot, it really depends on you! if you feel confident and you are not a beginner maybe your ready for a larger heli, but the decision has to be yours to make.Dont make the mistake i did! i bought too many nice large helis and became scared to fly them in case of crashing which removes the enjoyment.good luck
@shahram6779 ай бұрын
I already bought m4 max and just bought battery tray and two set of rs4 blade and I haven’t bought rs4 venom yet.I crash frequently because I’m practicing crazy stuff with heli that’s why not really sure do I really need larger size

In other hand larger heli like rs7 or m7 are amazing
