Full Disclosure: I am reimbursed by the client for my time spent testing and evaluating these products. The payment is to serve as reimbursement for time spent driving to and from the range, ammo, shooting, filming time, and editing time. My reviews are based on what the product can do and not what I think of it which keeps the video as factual as possible. If I happen to express an obvious liking for a product, it's because I truly like how it performed, not because I was paid. I've yet to be approached by ANY manufacture that would want a "fluff piece" video. In fact they request just the opposite, hence my T&E designation.
I test, give them my findings, and release a video on the product. I wanted to be forthcoming to all my subscribers so nobody is left in the dark. As always, thanks for watching!

You should have done the stupid bump fire pistol thing like on the commercial for sicario 2. Looks like they used the same retarded firearm SME in part 2 as the first one, where they had EoTechs on backwards.

I don't think there was ever a backwards EOTech, I've watched that movie many times and the few errors that were in the movie were Alejandro's MP5A3 suddenly becoming a MP5SD at the border scene, and Michael Weston's M4 having the bolt locked to the rear with clearly no round chambered.

Unlike any other hushed gun vids this sends a chill.... it's intended purpose is to be pointed at a human skull at intimate range.... like a knife intimate. Outside of the sound being potted down, this is the quietest gun I've heard.

so this basically turning the AWC Amphibian into a detachable silencer that can be put on other 22lr pistols and a number of rifles. if it is as good as the intergral 22lr rugers then this a nice bit of innovation at half the cost.

I wonder. Is it 22 mag compatible and would the integral design reduce the feet per second to not make it the 22 mag round go sonic? Would be nice thing if it did since no one has for some reason made 22 mag subsonic ammo. I am making payments on a kel tec cmr-30 (i know the horror stories but reading the manual reveals most of those to be fables) and if that can was to lower the db a lot more then a regular 22 mag can would then it would be fantastic since not only would i get a nice awesome looking handgun but also when I went to fire the cmr-30 i got a very nice can to put on that..

What's the point of making .22 mag subsonic? The bullet weights are practically all the same, so the only advantage magnum really has is its velocity.

I just got my Sicario MK IV (Stainless Steel Ruger Target model + Titanium suppressor). This thing is impressive. It's very quiet and accurate using just the iron sights, but I'll be adding a red dot sight shortly. Cleaning the mono-core is easy using the "dip" solution, or traditional cleaning methods. It's a real eye-turner on the range, too. The only thing that I would like to mention is that the modifications to the host Ruger pistol that are necessary to accept the integral suppressor will void the Ruger's warranty on the host. I don't understand Ruger's thinking, but that's what I learned from them.

A .22lr is still a lethal round. It’s use and intention is based on the user. It’s easiest to muffle due to it’s size, and velocity. I’d like the muffling for vermin in a subdivision.

A lovely looking gun... Used to have a Ruger MkII many years ago and used it a few times target and practical pistol competition. People call it a plinker... Perhaps, but you still wouldn't want to get shot with one. People don't seem to appreciate that a .22 is as lethal, if not more so than larger calibres. The .22 tends remain largely intact and then tumble and bounce off of hard tissue and bone and does all sorts of damage internally. And all it will leave is a tini-tiny entry wound that will hardly bleed. Nasty.

Here l go again...the late Mitchell Werbles American Weapons Companies RST/4 developed for the old ruger mk 2/ mk3 series was definitely simpler, it consisted of a full length cross drilled barrel,a shroud and the end cap...no baffles, instead you stuffed it with copper coiling and it retained the profile of a bull barreled target mk series...

@gregkerr725
@gregkerr725 6 жыл бұрын
I asked myself....should I say something or not. Well, having spent my career in both retail and wholesale gun sales, as well as guns.... shooting and hunting having always been my favorite thing to do. I have personally witnessed and experienced the ongoing attempts to deprive citizens of their Constitutional gun rights. Now, while this gun looks and is cool, the whole idea of calling it what in English means "Hit Man" is I think irresponsible and counterproductive to many people's efforts to ensure our continued gun rights. Suppose some gang member gets a hold of one of these, commits some murders, gets caught, and the press finds out the gun was marketed as "The Hit Man". I can hear the headlines now! "GUN MAKER LEGALLY MARKETS PISTOL TO ASSASSINS!" Look, I know I may sound pompous and many of you might get mad and simply say..."Hey if you don't like it, just shut up and don't watch it". I understand, I've felt that way before myself, but I think every thing like this essentially is putting another nail in the coffin they are going to bury our gun rights in. I went through being effected financially during the assault weapons ban of 1994-2004 and dealers before my time went through it during the gun control act of 1968. Each time we weathered and eventually overcame those controls....and each time certain folks who supposedly value our gun rights have acted irresponsibly in a manner which aids non-gun people in their anti-gun cause. Yeah I can legally open carry my pistol in my state or strap an AR across my chest and walk around in public with it....but I don't for two reasons...it causes angst among the non gun folks and also I have been in the position many times that if I was a bad guy and wanted another high dollar gun to sell I could have held my pistol to an open carriers head and taken it. At the end of this video their is talk about people wanting to take away our rights....well duh.....you act stupid and that happens. i see this kind of stuff all the time and want to yell at gun owners all the time "HEY, ARE YOU PRO-GUN OR SOME PLANT FROM THE ANTI-GUN FOLKS TRYING TO MAKE US LOOK BAD AND HAVE OUR RIGHTS TAKEN AWAY!". Well, nuff said.............If you want to troll me go ahead...I'm in my late 60's now and can take it. But it is you younger generation which will be affected in the future, my time is done, and I am too old to illegally hide away my guns if they pass gun confiscation laws.

Thank you for your kind words.I must say I have been surprised that I haven't gotten bashed. It is just that over the years I have seen many ways in which we gun owners are often our own worst enemy. I know that even in my early days in the gun business I felt anti-gunners were justified in wanting to ban cheap "Saturday night specials" until a co-worker pointed out that all poorer people were not criminals and didn't they have a right to purchase self protection that they could afford? So that opened my eyes a bit. Many of the ups and downs in my gun career came as a result of anti-gun folks having laws pushed through that, banned or attempted to ban, guns that were cheap or "evil assault rifles". These attempts always caused a huge surge in sales of these items and I think people who really should not have ever owned a weapon ended up with one. Of course myself and most others in the gun industry made hay during those times and in fact manufacturers and dealers even marketed to it. Hence "tacticool". We have to remember that the vast majority of gun owners are good responsible people and that anti-gunners don't know anything about guns, gun culture, or even our Constitutional rights and the reasons we have those rights. Bad guys can do bad things with virtually anything....a gun, a knife, a car, a plane, a match, poison or what have you. It is up to us as gun owners to encourage "good guys" and responsible gun ownership, and not trying to appeal to the "bad side" of guns. I believe any good guy should be able to own a suppressed weapon or a high capacity semi auto rifle or pistol and I just desire to see that such ownership will be available to generations in the future.

I remember reading an article from one of the prominent writers (Big guy with a beard) , about twenty years ago, and he commented then that magazine front cover titles of "Man Stopper, Man Killer, combat ready" were a disservice to gun owners and only served to feed into the anti 2A narative that Gun owners are unhinged fanatics. I don't know if he was the catalyst but I did notice the various mags changing their titles afterwards (from the 90's). Guns with names like "Street Sweeper" and such didn't help
@steveyj75
@steveyj75 6 жыл бұрын
I agree with everything that both of you have said. I am a Canadian, and have seen first-hand what happens if you let the gun-grabbers create the narrative. The type of branding shown here goes one step further by creating it FOR them. It has always interested me that we (gun people) push back pretty firmly on the "assault rifle" tag the liberals place on any black rifle, but let this stuff go by without even blinking. Thanks for being a voice, Greg Kerr!

I'd do it myself, but I'm more about moderating the noise of antique firearms and selling those privately, among other things. After all, it's not a suppressor if it's not attached to a firearm :)

No ports needed on a barrel 5" or less. 95% of .22lr ammo will be subsonic.. a Stinger will supersonic crack thought.

Thanks! I filmed and edited the entire video solo. It was a challenge to get the shots and pans, especially the silhouette shed scene. I had to set the drag to medium run in front of the camera and wait for it to pan on me 😂
