The point is being missed here. No other receiver, no matter their skills, has performed at Mike's level this consistently and for this long in their career. Not even the WR GOAT Jerry Rice has this feat. Every year you can pencil Mike in for 1K regardless of QB play, injury, suspension, etc. etc.

I have been a Buc fan for my entire life (31 years) and today was my favorite moment in the history of this franchise. It's not a super bowl win or championship game, but the suspense when Baker flipped it to Bucky for that TD made the moment that much sweeter when NO gave the ball back to the Bucs with a little bit of time left. Seeing the entire sideline come out and mob Evans... the stadium going crazy, its just a special moment. Hearing Tom on the broadcast say "Mike is the ultimate team player, its never about him." That is exactly why they drew up a play for him to get the last five yards. This streak to tie the record meant a lot to everyone, not just Mike. He fought back from injury so many times. I'm almost tearing up writing this right now.
