As a Raiders fan I love AP. However, I would like him to come back in a few years as the linebackers coach or something. He's got a powerful voice. However, you didn't watch every game this year as I did. He was grossly overmatched, making key terrible decisions in every game, imo. He's not the smartest bulb in the box. We should have gone after Harbaugh with 20 million dollars per year and then gone after Penix in the draft with 3 #1's. IMO, Penix is the best QB in this draft, the best QB since Mahomes to be drafted, imo.

Yeah. The deaf ears were from the Redskins side. We offered the THREE #1 picks to move up. They said no. What the Raiders should have done is offered two #1's to move up to #6 or 7 on draft day if Penix was still available. He is the best QB in this draft. With Penix at QB, we probably win 8 to 10 games. I love this kid. Atlanta was brilliant to take him.

Every time Collin tries to imply in an interview with Brady that Belichick was the bad one and Brady the good one, Brady has only spoken positively about Belichick. He highlights how well-prepared the team was for games, how they had all the answers to the test, always knew what to do, what would complicate things, and how to solve them. He says Kraft didn’t suddenly turn bad in one year but implies that Belichick did. I don’t understand why there’s so much criticism. I assume Collin invited Belichick to join Fox, and Belichick chose ESPN instead.

I would've given AP another year. I don't think even Vince Lombardi would've done any better with that team/roster in that Division. He was given a tough break. AP wanted Daniel's, and maybe if we had secured the pick to get Daniel's, Kliff Kingsbury would've signed on even with a 2 year deal. But Washington wasn't trading the pick. If AP could've somehow turned it around next year then great, but if the Raiders imploded again next year, they'd be in prime position to take Arch Manning out of Texas (assuming he declares) and then they'd be a much better situation for a Top Tier Head Coach. Interested to see who they bring in, but at the same time, who would even want this job, right now ??

Before we can talk about any coaching stuff, we have to address something… #1 we have one of the worst owners in the NFL, if not thee worst. This organization is highly dysfunctional and most professionals are not trying to work there. Now that we have that out-of-the-way, we changed coaches and players almost every year yet we get the same results. Let’s be honest, AP should have never got the job to begin with, Harbaugh was there and Davis did nothing to get him. And then, even after hiring a guy who wasn’t ready to be a coach, the organization did nothing to help him, Tom Telesco refused to give a good offensive coordinator, Cliff Kingsbury, a three-year contract. Hence, Kingsberry went to a different team. Antonio Pierce wanted to move up in the draft for a certain quarterback and was blocked. Since Tom Telesco has worked in the NFL, he has had a terrible reputation with coaches and coordinators. He is a good talent scout but terrible general manager. He still is employed by Mark Davis. There are absolutely no good head coaches looking for jobs right now and anybody who is decent does not want to work for a dysfunctional organization or a general manager like Tom Telesco. Mark Davis knows that a lot of his fans are more interested in looking cool rather than having a good team, that’s all he cares about, looking cool and trying to make money. Hence where he moved the team to, he knew, they all knew, we knew, Vegas is a vacation city, other teams fans are gonna fill up the seats.

Bill was far from perfect but since he’s left Robert Kraft hand picked his successor to only fire him after one year. How button up do you think Robert Kraft is? They didn’t interview Vrabal last year. Tom Brady may have covered up some of Bills flaws but are we sure he didn’t help cover up some of Robert Kraft’s flaws as well? Robert Kraft couldn’t wait to get rid of Bill and despite winning 7 super bowls with him, he couldn’t say a nice word about him to help him get another job. He couldn’t wait to get control of his franchise again and the first thing he did was hire one of the coaches of the people he hated being around.

Telesco did everything in his power to oppose AP because that's what Mark Davis instructed him to do. Mark Davis knew Champ Kelly and AP together would've moved mountains to draft Jayden Daniels and keeping Josh Jacobs. Kingsbury as an Offensive coordinator, would have had Jayden Daniels, Josh Jacobs, Jakobi Meyers, Devante Adams (because he only left due to Minshew's ineptitude). Instead we only got Brock Bowers in return and as great as he is, he can't compare to the talent potentially lost. Mark Davis is the Problem. Always has been, always will be.

You don't think Brady put up with all that in New England and then said "we're not gonna get there with Pierce"? I'm pretty sure he's making moves already, I'm pretty sure he's leaning into ownership and I'm also pretty sure he knows what good and bad coaching looks like first-hand a little better than Colin.

There's reports that Brady called Bill to have him reconsider taking the college job, to coach the Raiders. Even he doesn't believe this revisionist history about him "keeping it all together" as if Bill had no idea what he was doing. Bill built and fostered the culture, and like a good eldest child, Brady carried it and promoted to EVERYONE who walked in those doors. That's call synergy, not a lopsided relationship.

We keep asking if it was Brady or Belichick. I think we should all be saying that it certainly wasn't Kraft. Since 1993 he had Parcells and Belichick for about 25 of those years. The highest level of competency and he's basically the kid who didn't have to do much to get an A on the group project. Now when he has to show he can do the work solo we're seeing a lot.

The biggest part of his job is getting the right guys for the right jobs and letting them do their jobs. To me it sounds like he is excellent at what he does 🤷🏿‍♂️ What more can he or should he do? If he does more, he'll turn into Jerry Jones or Mark Davis and we see how that turns out Year after year.

Capt. Bowlcut was wrong to hire AP last year, when he had a shot at Harbaugh, Vrabel, and Belichick....that's when he let the flaky players like Davante Adams force a rookie coach AP on him. Plus, AP lost 10 straight games, and failed to win ONE division game (first time in 18 years). Even with a mediocre team that went 8-9 last year (with AOC at QB), AP should have been able to do better than 4-13. As far as Belichick, I think you're playing fast and loose with the STATS, but yes...he didn't seem to prioritize offensive skill position players. But, Aaron Hernandez should have gone to a Pro Bowl in 2011, and Julian Edelman was a very good receiver.

The reality is that a 10-game losing streak, being swept by the division for the first time in 20 years, and consistently making poor game management decisions are going to lead to any coach being let go. While AP seems like a cool guy, his performance as a head coach fell way too short, he looked lost on the sidelines all season. Plus he brought Getsy onboard and rolled with Minshew.

Brady even had time to practice with his team before the season started, even though restrictions in socialising existed.

Whats so hard to see that Brady and Belichick were both responsible for the success at NE. Football has 2 sides of the ball and BB was a mastermind on his side. His downfall was getting more power, especially since he messed up the offensive side. Brady also got to pick his destination and it had everything for him to be successful
