GAMING TIP: Always take (Iron Ore) while looting. It's hard to come by. You need it to make Steel. You need Steel to make glass windows, doors, and walls.

A rather tense moment when you went back to collect, not only the croc that was stuck behind a mangrove tree, but also the bolts you used to kill it. The worst part being if there's more than one and you don't know which direction they're coming from. It's so easy to run from one straight into another. I suspect you're not safe on the ATV, either. You were fortunately enough to evade them with dead croc in tow and manage to get the last croc skin you need to make the larger back pack! The crocs tend to disappear once you go beyond the edge of the swamp, but I've known the odd one continue their pursuit, so it's no guarantee. Once you stop hearing them, then you're safe. It's fun to take shortcuts across country, but you have to be weary of those cliff top edges. They're pretty well defined, though, but it's easy to go over one when you're in a hurry to get somewhere. Luckily, you don't suffer any damage whilst riding the ATV, so it's just as well. I assume the trailer doesn't suffer any damage, either. That north-east part of the map is pretty desolate, other than for a few cars littered along the long and winding road up to the furthest town. There are a few shortcuts to be had, but they're not the easiest to travail. Tech pages are the main consideration, of course, and any high value drops you can find. You'd like to keep all that meat to turn into biofuel, but it does take up much needed room in your inventory. It's inevitable you're going to have to drop a lot of it as you loot the towns.

Little advice : if you do build in the swamp later on, make sure the crocs are put on the table or cart. They disappear pretty quickly. Not that I built in the swamp, and this happened to me not once, not twice but 4 different times. 😂. Not me 🤞

A relatively quick and easy way to earn coins at the traders. 1 Stick + 1 Feather + 5 Iron Fragments makes Fishing Bate (Lures). They stack to 25 and can earn you close to $300 per crate at .30 a piece.
