I had the opportunity of visiting Georgia back when I was based in Europe. The country is a real gem, and it leaves you nostalgic long after you've gone. Eclectic culture and great people. A ton of natural beauty too - with the Caucasus Mountains and Black Sea coast. I can't recommend it enough to anyone thinking of visiting someday.

We visited three countries in the region in October 2021.Tbilisi in Georgia was the coolest and very diverse place. The food was the best. Some say Batumi is the greatest but for us it was Tbilisi and Swaneti region. Not enough words in the dictionary to describe the beauty of Caucasus.

Been binge watching all kinds of history videos the last four years: Georgia, with arable land and climate was the bread basket for the Romans before Egypt got going, and has been through many, many historical changes for thousands of years.
