It's a shame the snake lower body isn't made of bendy wire. For the price, $189.99 on BBTS, they should have made the snake part articulated. It's a beautiful figure nevertheless though.

This comment is even more relevant now that they've announced a 1/12 version which is exactly like as you described, a flexible tail. I'd always assumed this 1/6 was a bendy wire tail for the price.
