Thanks, my friend! Yeah, this is a beautiful figure. I have always loved these mythical type of figures, and it being a female character is always a huge plus for me.

I love your attention to detail with the seams and placement. It looks cool on the bottom. I didn't even look at the underside. Also, the ends of the bows and the snakeheads. I paid more attention to the overall look than the details. I always learn watching you!!! I saw that photo with the fabric, but I couldn't think of why they did that . . . other than for a touch of color since the snake is part of her. That seemed rather silly though. I didn't know why they put a green gem on the sword, but I think they wanted something to match the green snake and something to match the red outfit on the silver snake. So instead of making two versions with the same gem; they just split it down the middle. I have to go back and see if there is slime on the body. I didn't notice it. I love how you put that, "Where the heck are you going to put the other two arrows?" Yep. You're right!!! I like your pose too with the Trident!!! I'm keeping the bow and arrow look, but I'm thinking about making a quiver. I love this figure, and I prefer the snake body too. I can't imagine posing it any other way. 🤗🤗♥🤗🤗

I always have a good look at all the parts before I assemble a figure, and I try to have a general look at everything before I do a review. That way I can easily spot the pros/cons and bring attention to them during the review. I also find it better to inspect the parts through the camera lense rather than just looking at them with the naked eyes. You can see so much more details when you van really zoom in on the parts. That cloth thing for the tail makes absolutely no sense to me. It is attached to a pointy body part and would easily come off if it was dragged against the ground. It also serves no purpose at all. The gemstones on the accessories are probably to put a small fantasy touch on them. They make a item look «expensive», but I don’t see any real practical purpose for them other than being decorative LOL. In the world of role playing games gems have often some sort magical aspect to them, such as giving a sword a flame power or something like that for extra damage. I can’t see any slimy effects on the snake body itself, and as far as I know snake don’t leave a slimy trail behind them either. So why they added that effect to the base I don’t know. It probably was to make the snake body fit better on the base. I will most likely try to find a quiver on eBay at some point and swap out the trident with the bow and arrows, but for now I am using the trident. After reading about the Medusa character online I have discovered that she have had various appearances depending on the source material. Personally I think the snake body is a better look, but appearantly she have wings in some variants as well. As far as weapons goes, I don’t see the need of her having any weapons at all. She is basically a weapon herself, and carrying a weapon would just get in her way.

@@Eseres80 You know you are right about seeing more stuff with the camera. My husband has filmed things, and when I see the actual video, I notice lint or stray pet hairs or something that I didn't notice before. Also, sometimes you focus in on something and miss something else--something actually quite glaring. I learned fast though that I absolutely hate re-filming something. If I can just add some text in the video, I am okay. Some days though the words do not flow well. I am glad I didn't go into news coverage. I would be so awful. LOL

The details on a figure you might discover when you really zoom in is amazing. Like on a watch, for example. With the naked eye all you really can see is that there is something on the face of the watch, but once you zoom in you can see the numbers and even the brand of the watch. How they manage to put in these tiny details is beyond me. Its not like you’re even going to notice or care, but still…

Such an awesome piece Svein she's definitely one to hold your attention , a lot of details to keep exploring , another one I'll add to the "someday" list lol , been working in the wee shed , built a raised level floor and got some new shelving to build and power and lighting all ready to complete just can't get a long enough dry spell to go out and do it , then , then I'll be collecting in earnest again ....

Thanks, my friend! Yes, this is a beautiful figure. I can’t help loving these female characters no matter how they look like. Yeah, it is getting colder and more rainy ever day now. The only thing that I love about this weather is the fact that I can cuddle up under the blanket and sleep LOL. Can’t wait to see your shed being complete and you back into collecting again!

The lack of a quiver is indeed puzzling, but I like archery as a hobby, so I'm glad "the wife" went with the bow when she posed her Medusa.
@Eseres80Ай бұрын
The bow and arrows are the only weapon that actually makes any sense to me with this figure. The trident is too huge for such a character to drag around, while the sword, just like the trident is close range weapon. The enemies would have turned to stone long before she could do any damage with those weapons. With that said! Given Medusas ability to turn who ever that looks at her into stone, why does she even need any weapons? Her snake body more or less already suggests that she is a crawling type of character. She can’t move very fast while standing upright (I would presume). So she have to depend on sneaking around while crawling along the ground and catch her enemies by surprise, thus making any type of weapons just a thing thats getting in her way. It would be a much better accessory for this figure to have one or two extra heads with different face expressions, but thats just my humble opinion though. Then again, I may just be overthinking the whole thing LOL. Medusa has various appearances in the old mythologies. In some of the versions of her she even has legs and wings, which then it would make more sense for her to actually carry any weapons.

Thanks, buddy. Hell, yeah! This is a very awesome figure. I have seen some company make a 1/6th scale centaur that I wanted, but jesus fuck how expensive that one was LOL! Maybe TBLeague will attempt something similar at some point and at a more affordable price.

Yes, it is awesome! It will look great next to any mythical figure, I think. I have a old Anubis figure that would look great next to Medusa, but she takes up all the space on the shelf with this snake body LOL!. Funny enough. TBLeague also did a 1/12th scale version of this figure and they managed to make a posable snake body for that one, so why not for the 1/6th scale version? It would have made it so much more fun to pose.

@ I have been thinking about 1/12 Arkhalla I definitely can not afford the 1/6 scale version 😉

@ That looks like a great figure. I had to pass on it myself though. These figures are getting far too expensive for me these days with the current exchange rate.
@Ecto_Eric2 ай бұрын
@ I can not even imagine what that must be like & if the shipping is high for me it must be even more expensive for you.
@Eseres802 ай бұрын
@ Yeah, the shipping is very expensive. Wish I could get the $4 USD shipping like they are getting in the US. With that said! Buying these figures here in Norway would cost me at least three times as much just for the figures alone, and on top of that the shipping costs within the country. Its just that the norwegian currency is so weak against the USD at the moment. Wish I had paid the full amount on some of the figures I have coming when they first went up for preorder LOL. Can’t do that with BBTS though, but there is a online store in Hongkong that I use where I could have done just that. Anyway. It doesn’t hurt my wallet to ease up on the collecting for a while either LOL.

Amazing figure and base diao. Crazy they didn't include a quiver. Maybe make one? She is rather buxom and not the medusa I remember from clash of the titans but very cool.
@Eseres802 ай бұрын
Hell, yeah! Damn awesome figure this one. I have seen similar armors and stuff on eBay so I may be able to source a quiver that is in a similar style. If not, then I could make a very shitty but functional one myself LOL.

The instructions come in English and Chinese bro. English is the international language. Phicen or TBLeague is a Chinese company. Medusa TBLeague was made in China. 🇨🇳 😊 Great review with lots of details. Those shaky hands made me nervous the whole time. 😵💫 You can probably find a loose arrow quiver from a SWToys Miss Croft figure. Some Chinese sellers on eBay sell loose accessories. I have seen that quiver on eBay.

You are absolutely right! I don’t know why I said japanese LOL! Thanks, buddy! Yeah, I don’t know what the fuck is going on with my hands lately. Today I can actually hold the completely still, but some days they’ll be shaking like a motherfucker. Maybe there is a nerve or something, I don’t know. I can’t even carry a glass of water across the room without the risk of spilling half of the water on the floor LOL! I know I’ve seen some quivers that would match this armor on eBay. I just have to see if I can find one at some point, or possibly make my own.
