Currently at BLC have to give a class on adjusting fire. This video made my job a lot easier! Thanks battle!

vader545 hope you explained OT factor. After seeing all those crazy long and short distances thrown up, never once being the same distance at the same impact point, anyone with half an idea what was going on earlier in the video was probably lost after the last portion of the video.

The Call For Fire Process (as in FM 6-30 (Ch 4)) would be great!

back in FAOBC, we had to do classroom training on adjusting fire. It was hard as hell because it was a 2D simulation. When we got to the field, and actually adjusted live fire, it was much easier

the sequence of impacts at the end was pretty useful. cheers.

More of these Field Artillery related vids please.

Manual Gunnery would also be very interesting. I think you need to focus on the respective basic "core" topics first before hitting the advanced levels, then these videos have the potential to become an integral part of the Army's training assets and the baseplate of any instructional framework.

Just because active soldiers know all this doesn't mean civilians aren't interested in the process themselves. Lots of war movies and shows and games feature calls for artillery and it's nice to know what "Plus one, strike three, fire concentration charlie, drop 200, left 100, fire for effect" means.
