The song of achilles isn't as intimidating as it may seem, it's honestly just normal fantasy with romance, war and things... and there are gods and other mythical creatures but they are like normal characters and everything is explained really well! Just read it, I think you'll love it!
@abigailmawade9 ай бұрын
that is such a gorg line up!!! you should try doing a reading vlog of trying to complete your tbr by reading a few books from it?? and maybe include the song of achilles in it???🫠🫠

I was intimated with The song of Achilles in the beginning aswell, because I had no idea about Greek mythology and didn't know what to expect but my friends have read it and they loved it so I picked it up and it's honestly such a beautiful book, with so many poetic quotes and heart wrenching yet such a pure romance, I'm sure you'll love it aswell

OMG how have I never heard of Where the Dark Stands Still?! So glad you picked that - adding to my TBR! Also I would say One Dark Window is not quite romantasy, more so fantasy romance if you want to split hairs haha. Also also, I have to say that I do think TSOA is probably a bit overhyped, tbh BUT it also is good. I really do think it's something you'd enjoy.

These videos are so fun. I’ve watched for about a year and thought that this month I’d pick out a TBR for myself at the same time. I ended up with: 1. i want to dies but i want to eat tteokbokki by baek sehee for the cartoon cover prompt 2. The Girl and the Stars by Mark Lawrence for the random number generator prompt 3. Gods & Monsters by Shelby Mahurin for the book I regret buying 4. 12 Steps to a Long and Fulfilling Death by Sarah Smith for person on the cover 5. Endure by Carrie Jones for the one word title 6. Daisy Haites: the great undoing for the name in the title prompt 7. The Prisoner’s Throne by Holly Black as the white cover book 8. The Iron King since I also own a copy It was so much fun. Not sure how successful I will be at reading 8 books (especially since some are a series) but I’m a teacher at the start of school holidays so who knows 😅
