Having never flown FPV yet, I just know that I'm gonna resort back to how I used to play Mario Bros as a kid. I was that kid that thought he had to jump with the flipping remote every time I jumped in the game. Having your hands in the shot made me realize that and made me wonder how the hell you can be so still while standing and flying like that?! I was wanting to jump around for you! Hahahahaha!!! Great review. I am hoping this hobby still exists by the time I get into it.

Sweet. Can’t wait to get one. The pro has a foldable gimbal stick for even more portability and no worries about breaking a gimbal during transport. From what I understand the lanyard mount is optional and an extra cost after the preorders. I donno but I think I heard Bob say something like that. But still for $5 no prob. I was about to get a crsf micro in the next few weeks but now I think ima just wait and order this bad boy.

How do you feel about those shoulder switches? Those rocker switches look like they're really easy to activate. I kinda wish I could have short switches like the x-lite on all my radios. Does it have a trainer port or any way to plug a multimodule or LRS system into it? I guess it makes sense to only have a 250mW output because of the 1s 5Ah battery inside. Can you charge while flying? Does yours have the folding gimbal sticks?

Sweet - awesome product, hopefully people will sell their old Jumper T16's to get these, and I can pick those up cheap. I do like a lot of their thinking on the buttons and toggle switches - but having large hands and being a pincher means the big brick form factor works best for me.

@FPV-OG Either of the '16' line setup that has the internal multiprotocol module. I know lots of people got those wanting it to be 'the answer', but may decide this is the radio for them.

im not too sure about the added latency you mention , i've seen a osci test of 5 goggles and 30MS is normal on analog. The ev300d came out over 100MS tho, so yeah, i was stunned by the results of fatshark etc. because i always thought it would be around 10-15ms.

Having trouble with setting my end points on the Tango 2 in betaflight. Even tried CLI commands. The throttle end points especially are not changing to 1000 and 2000. Any ideas?

@@maksimreshetnikov1029 well for me, i want a small radio that i can chuck in my bag. then when an awesome spot comes by, i can easily retrieve the small TX then rip. I think it depends on the user i guess. but that's one scenario on how I would use mine. :)

Little stat wise seems impressive, its mostly just a full function small format radio. And thats actually good tho. In no fault of TBS own the hype for the radio encouraged an idea for some kinda of new age idea for a radio instead of the best of the same but compact, but every thing still sounds good.

Do you normally pinch without a neck strap? The fact that that's an option is encouraging. I would always use a neck strap myself, but ergonomics have to be pretty good to pinch and hold at the same time.

Man, this is my exact issue with DJI - even at 700mw that's the kind of performance that i get in woods/trees even with focus mode, the image in those environments just get so blocky to the point where you smack into scraggle you could normally easily avoid. In your case right off the bat focus mode was heavily active almost immediately. I'm pretty confident that analogue would've far outpaced the reception there. And then you switch over to the stadium where reception is amazing where analogue would've probably been a little glitchy with all the flat surfaces.

One question. Why not just use the Dji controller for your Dji quads? You don’t have to solder an extra receiver to the quad that’s gonna break off after a crash. I’ve never had a fail safe with it yet. I understand that you have to use other controllers for racing analog or extreme long range maybe.

EscobarFPV because the crossfire has lower latency especially when at the edge of the range for DJI it gets much more laggy than crossfire

@@properfpv7160 what kind of range are you talking about? I don't feel any latency at all from any distance that I fly while using the dji transmitter. I watched a video where he tested crossfire vs DJI(baud-fast) and the dji was a hair faster at 7ms. I've never heard of anyone complain about latency with the dji transmitter.

Matthew Walsh frame rate from the original video recording and frame rate settings from the final video nurk edited are most likely different. Causes slight frame skipping.

The hype in my opinion centres around the fact that it's compact and useable for pinchers. I've been waiting for a radio that I can throw in my bag without pulling antennas on and off. I tried the xlite and it's not big hands friendly even with extended gimbals.
